BCV's BLACK MARK!

Just back from WDW and BCV, 1/1-1/8. I have a complaint about my BCV accomodations. There was a black mark on the coffee table. Yes, I know what you are thinking, it just about ruined my vacation too.

I think everyone should sell their BCV points right now.

Oh Bruce, I think that they should at least give you your vacation for half the points that you used! How terrible, a black mark. What next? A smudge on the window? Or a fingerprint on the counter? You should complain!! LOL!!

Disney has pretty high cleanliness standards, mostly.
I think that they wash the blankets between guests, as I have seen the blankets in the dirty laundry piles.
The one place on Disney property that I find does not meet my cleanliness standards is the haunted mansion. It has cobb webs all over the place.

There was a black mark on the coffee table.

I hope you contacted maintenance so that no one else will have to deal with it. It was probably a renter who had too many people in the room

Thanks for starting my Monday morning off with a laugh. LOL But you know how it happens -- it starts off with one black mark and before you know it there's a whole family of them!! Could be a real problem!!

Oh, that reminds me of the rest of the story. I did bring some Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and the rest of my cleaning supplies because of all the negative reports I had been hearing about BCV. Better to be safe than sorry! However, those Magic Erasers only worsened the problem by creating some other issues I failed to mention.

Because I scrubbed so hard trying to remove the black mark, I inadvertantly removed some of the paint from the coffee table. I, of course, did not want to leave the place in shambles. So, I loaded the coffee table into my minivan and ran to Home Depot to see if they had some matching paint. They did not. So, I tried Lowes. They also did not have any matching paint. Therfore, I decided to run back to Home Depot and grab a pint of the "Lime Green" I have been hearing so much about on these boards. Needless to say, I spent almost a whole day of valuable park time getting rid of a black mark on that darn coffee table. That is why my vacation was nearly ruined.

Now, room 350 has a "DIS Lime Green" coffee table all because of a little black mark!
