Hi all,

I'm so sorry if this has been answered many times, I did try to search through a lot of threads, but couldn't really find what I needed. I'm new to this forum, but not to the American Disney parks. We're thinking about doing a trip to Japan and of course doing the Tokyo parks. I'm on their website, and wow is it ever different. From what I'm seeing I can buy a package, which gets me hotel, tickets, some fast passes (I know they're likely not called this, but that's essentially what they are I think?), and meals. But I can only get a max of 2 nights and 3 park days. And I really don't need the prepaid meals. But when I look at tickets, all I can see if 1 day tickets. Can I book a hotel for more than 2 nights on it's own, and then buy multiple day tickets? Is this even an option? What are people doing if they want more than 3 days in the parks? Buying more than one vacation package? Is that an option? I'd rather not have the prepaid meals, unless there's a really good reason to have them? Like you can't get reservations without doing the package? Oh and also, the package is forcing me to only have one DL day and 2 Disney Sea Days, is that what we'd want if we only did 3 days?

Any other info you think I should know would also be great appreciated. I feel a bit lost with this planning.

You can book hotel and buy multiple 1 day tickets separately.

The main advantage of the vacation packages is being able to prebook your premier access passes, or even an unlimited pass excluding the new Fantasy Spring rides. VP booking opens earlier than regular hotel and restaurant reservations, so you get first dibs. Breakfast is included, but other meals are optional and require paying for a set meal. The downside is the upcharge.

If you can only do three days then yes I would use two at DisneySea and one at Disneyland. It is the better park and unlike any of the USA parks so worth more than one day. They used to sell up to four days passes but that was pre-covid. Now you have to buy multiple one day tickets if you don't want a package but want more than one day.
