Bathing Suits instead of Ponchos

Anyone ever do this when it rains in the summer heat? Seems like it would be warm enough and your suit would dry quick.

I'm pretty sure it is not allowed.

I've found it states you can wear swim tops with appropriate bottoms, but no string tops bikini tops are allowed.

We saw them stop a lady at the turnstiles who was wearing bikini top with no shirt. Saw here later in the day with a shirt on. I believe they require you to have a shirt on outside of the water parks.

I wear a bathing suit when I'm at the beach or the pool.

I wear regular clothes the rest of the time. If it's raining, I wear a poncho, use an umbrella, or get wet.

For what it's worth, I also choose not to wear pajamas outside of the house.

Honestly, if I really didn't want to wear ponchos, I would go with a moisture- wicking fabric that would dry quickly.

I think a rash guard top with board shorts would be ok. Rash guards look enough like normal tops. But I can't imagine it would be comfortable to walk around in for long.

The ponchos are awkward but they do help. If you want to avoid them, wear clothes that dry quickly. I think that trying to find bathing suits that look like clothes will not work.

I think you are mistaken in thinking your suit would dry out quick. If it is humid at all, swimwear would be miserable in the parks.

It is the humidity. When I wore a poncho at WDW in the summer, I was sweating so much that it felt like it was raining inside my poncho.

Swimwear will become really uncomfortable once the rain stops and the sun comes out.

Ask any guy how comfortable swim trunks are to walk around in for a long time.

Hint - they aren't and he will chafe and get sores in places he really doesn't want any.

Yeesh! I wouldn't want to see that every time it rained in the parks! Just the visual in my head is really scary!!

We brought rain jackets last month. Yes, it was warm in June, but they weren't nearly as bad as ponchos. Mine and DH were Columbia, the boys wore some that I bought at Walmart for less than $10 each.

We just bring a few of the cheap 1.00 ponchos and throw them away when it stops raining so we dont have to mess with wet poncho.

DH and DS have chimed in on this before with big huge "ouch" expressions on their faces. The mesh "underwear" in trunks/board shorts isn't something most want to wear to walk around in.
