Basic add on questions

Hi there!
The recent "add on" mailer started me thinking about adding on, but, I have a few basic questions.

1. When you talk about "add on"(specifically in regards to the mailer), are you talking about adding on to your existing resorts(160 pts,AKV in my case) or can you "add on" to your DVC portfollio in general and "add on " by purchasing 25 pts at a different resort, say BLT?

2. If I can buy only 25 pts at BLT is it still considered a second home resort for me?

3. If I have 25 BLT points, can I only book 25 pts worth of rooms(at BLT) at 11 months out or can I combine my AKV and BLT points and book more than 25 pts at 11 months?

4. At the very least, can I combine my AKV and BLT points and book at 7 months out at BLT?

5. Does it hold true the other way around, Can I use my 25 BLT and combine them with my AKV points and book at AKL at 11 months out or can I only use the 25pts at 7 months out?

Any insite into the pros/cons of having several small 25 pt contracts would be appreciated.

You can add on to any resort. It must be the same use year. The minimum is 25 if paying cash, 50 if financing. The minimum add-on for BLT is going to go up to 100.

Yes, it's a second home resort. See below.

You can only book 25 pts at BLT at 11 months out. You cannot combine pts from multiple resorts at 11 months out. You can, however, with banking and borrowing of your 25 points, have up to 75 pts to use at BLT every 3 years. (and this can be at the 11 month window.)

4. At the very least, can I combine my AKV and BLT points and book at 7 months out at BLT?

Yes. (BLT or any other resort)

5. Does it hold true the other way around, Can I use my 25 BLT and combine them with my AKV points and book at AKL at 11 months out or can I only use the 25pts at 7 months out?

The same holds true. You cannot use your 25 BLT points at AKV at 11 months out. You can combine them with your AKV points to book AKV (or any other resort) at 7 months out.
