Baby and the Tramp...and a Pop (half) Century! Where Did It Go???

:hourglass I sure hope your meeting is over by now and you are on the road (it's 7:45 sw ontario time here)! I am sure that that meeting was just about the hardest and longest you ever had to sit through!:snail:

But its over:cool1: and you are on your way!

have a great weekend...and make great memories:) :flower1:

I love the pics from the ice show! You were literally ON the ice pretty much! How cool! *Ha, no pun intended!

We just got in a little while ago. We had the best time! Did a lot of laughing. Didn't ride much. We saw some shows, did some shopping, took a ton of pictures, and ate a lot of good food. We only saw lovebugs a very few times. They were not a factor at all in the trip. We'll share lots of pictures, but I guess we need to finish the last day of the summer report first.

To anyone who is contemplating going to MNSSHP, don't hesitate - do it!!! Get in the car or on a plane right now and GO! Main Street looks great in fall decor, and Hallowishes was incredible. The villains show was awesome. Lots of character interaction throughout the park.

Gotta get in bed. Thanks for all the well wishes. Here's one picture of Little Miss Priss, also known as Alice in Wonderland. This was at the Halloween party.

I love Brooklyn's Alice dress....sooo cute!

Welcome Home MeMom.. I cannot wait to hear about your most recent trip.

My mom just told me that she would go to Disney with me in the Spring... So excited that someone will go with me again.. Woo hoo!!!

Welcome Home! :yay: I was thinking about you guys this weekend! Cant wait for the reports and pictures! Brooklynn/Alice looks soooo cute in her costume! :cutie:

My kids are at Art, so I've got a minute to Dis.

I feel like we will finish the summer trip's rain out night at MK and departing day this week, and then next week we can start showing the pictures from this Halloween/birthday trip. That way it'll be closer to Halloween, anyway.

I love the fact that I was at Pop Century yesterday! I don't know if everyone has a resort where they feel most comfortable, most at home, or whatever, but I know we do. Pop just feels right to us. It was okay at All-Star Sports, and I've walked around/eaten at Movies and Music, but they don't make me feel like I feel when I walk in the front door of Pop and see that big Everything Pop sign. Jill feels it, too, and I promise you, Brooklynn knew that place as soon as we walked in. She sped her little feet up and headed right toward the girft shop! We just love the feeling we get when we're at Pop. It could be that it has a special place in our hearts because of our 2005 vacation that started this whole Disneymania. Whatever it is, it felt good to be there.

It was a good way to end our trip. We ate breakfast and shopped, and Jill allowed me a few pictures, but I didn't get much. She had to drive all day and wanted to get started, so against my will and Brooklynn's, she made us get in the car to come home.

I was jealous of all the people lined up at the bus stop ready to go and have their magical days.

I think they were all laughing at me and saying, "Ha, ha, you have to leave and we get to stay!" as we pulled out of the parking lot.

I'm pretty sure they were.

I might have been silently pouting in the back seat. But it was silent.

Truthfully, I could have no reason to pout, because I am so very blessed to be able to go to WDW ever, much less over and over!

My day was unmagical. Florida is a much more exciting state when you're traveling south than it is when you're traveling north. The south highway is so filled with excitement, and the north highway is...icky, yucky, boring. I don't like the "coming back" side of the Florida highway. I had to ride in the car all day, headed toward home, and the swelling in my leg/ankle/foot was bad, as was the pain. I had to sit in the back with the leg propped up to the front. The pain gets intense sometimes, but the time we had was worth it. It'll go down by Wednesday and the memories we made will make the memory of the pain fade very quickly. We had an unmagical stop at a McDonald's along the way, too.

Cherokeemamma, we did stay in Perry. They were having the GA fair, so it was crowded. We got there at a decent hour and left out early in the morning, so we didn't see much of it for very long.

I'll do better at replying to all later. I have to go straight from school to a workshop tonight, and I could possibly want to fall asleep during that, since I haven't had much sleep in the past many nights.

Thanks, Jill, for going with me. I had an excellent time. You are the bestest daughter a mom could want! Thanks for putting up with me.

sounds like a good plan about starting the Halloween one next week.

i do know what u mean about a resort. I actually upgraded to POR from POP for January cause I felt more comfortable at POR.

I think of all the moderates, I like French Quarter the best. It seems so quaint. I like the architecture and the pretty cobblestone type "streets" for walkways. If I ever stay in a mod, I think I will try that one first. Of the deluxes, I used to think Wilderness Lodge, but I really am growing to love Poly. I doubt I'll ever stay deluxe, but if I was ever given the opportunity, that would be the one I'd want to stay at, even of it could only be for one or two days.

Let's finish up the summer report before it's time to pull out the winter coats.

Our last afternoon, Jill, John, Brooklynn, and I went to DTD for some last chance shopping.

They went down to the far end, while I stayed in the first few shops close to the front. It was raining steady, but not hard. I decided that I'd just sit under the awning at Earl of Sandwich and treasure the last few minutes there. I ate most of a really good sandwich.

I just did some people watching, and took a few pictures from where I sat.

Then we headed to Magic Kingdom to meet Trent and Kristi. The plan was to eat Casey's hot dogs and see Spectro and Wishes. Mother Nature had other plans. We ate soggy hot dogs in the rain under ponchos, but about two minutes before Spectro was to begin, it was called off. We were disappointed, but we just decided to head back to Pop and call it a night.

This is the last night of a wonderful vacation.

This is the picture that tells the story of the trip's name. Too bad it was so dark, and we didn't bother to take a better one. This is Baby Brooklynn and the Tramp (Trent). Long ago, in a pre-school I was working at, a little boy called Trent Tramp, and it just sort of stuck. He had been called Trip, Trap, and other names, but Tramp just sort of was appropriate and endearing, and so we have affectionately called him Tramp very often since. These two are two of the miracles, treasures, and blessings in my life. They are gifts that I love very much. Gifts that I do not deserve. Gifts that I am so glad God saw fit to give me anyway.
