Tell me about it! I just de-Christmased our home. The place always looks so naked afterwards.
We go back on January 4. What about everyone else?
Hi girls.
I can't believe break is almost over. I've not had a moment's peace since we left school on the 21st.
DH had the house cleaned when I got back from Disney, and well, Christmas took care of that. I did manage to unload a good amount of things that the kids can't fit in anymore or don't use. Now if I could just tackle my kitchen.
I'm planning to download our Photopass pictures tomorrow. I can't wait to see them! Daggone dial-up keeps me from viewing them, but I'm getting them at my parent's house when I get the kids tomorrow afternoon.
The paper has been keeping me busy too. Four games in two days and it was a blast! They also honored me in print by choosing one of my pictures from this past summer as photo of the year. They also printed up one of my favorite pictures from the state basketball championship - I think I shared it with you guys... the one where one of my kid's strips the ball mid-shot from the opponent. It wasn't photo of the year, but it was prominently featured on the front page of the paper AND above the fold on the front page of the sports section. It was pretty cool. They managed to snag me credentials for Super Bowl week, but they wouldn't let me shoot the actual game. Bummed, but it was expected.
Still pretty dang cool!
Hope you all have an amazing New Year's Eve!
