....well, other than my oldest DS, Todd, going on his first cruise last March/April (?), we've never done a cruise, so I thought that this was the perfect way to find out if it's for us...

....Ah....sweetie, which movie did you watch exactly??! I remember the Jack-on-the-beach scene (when he's looking for Ponce deLeon's ship up on the cliff?), but there was no Calypso/Tia Dalma in this one and Davy Jones went down into the sea at the end of the last movie.

I dunno, I liked it. It put the focus back on Jack and Hector and, to a lesser degree, the Pearl.

And Phillip....

I was half asleep and got the wrong movie. Which I realized today while I was talking about the real On Stranger Tides at work. It was the third one when Elizabeth becomes Pirate King. I liked the movie, but I was so tired and with all the extended commercials (one break was 10 minutes!) I was really wishing the movie had been cut down too.

I love cruising for any sake.

Boy am I enjoying a week off from work. Getting lots done that otherwise I barely find time for. I had a very depressing start to my day, though. I want to write more in the new year, so decided there's no time like the present to start. I have a web site that offers random journal prompts, and the one I got this morning asked "What parts of your life make you feel most exuberant and how much of your time do you spend on them?"

That's just it daisyyy... I wasn't shooting while the kids were on the blocks - it's not allowed. Nor is the use of flash during ANY diving event and all of the backstroke.

I was shooting my flash and had it pointed at the ceiling and was only shooting during the IM (not the backstroke part), fly, and free.

The jury is still out with the AD and the coaches, but I have absolutely no desire to return there to shoot.

Ah.... I gotcha... Don't know ... just a meanie I guess....
