Coffee for me. Although I have some Starbucks liquer in the cabinet that would go nicely. . .

Baileys also goes well with coffee, as does a little bit of Peppermint schnapps, Godiva, and Grand Marnier.

Boy am I enjoying a week off from work. Getting lots done that otherwise I barely find time for. I had a very depressing start to my day, though. I want to write more in the new year, so decided there's no time like the present to start. I have a web site that offers random journal prompts, and the one I got this morning asked "What parts of your life make you feel most exuberant and how much of your time do you spend on them?"

::crickets::crickets::

I. Got. Nothin'.

How sad is that? I have come to the stark conclusion that my life is, in fact, no more than a series of the same motions day in and day out. Lather, rinse, repeat. :sad2:

And this has been your public service sob story for today.

I think we all have those days where life is just one big episode of Groundhog Day, with less of a chance to clear up our mistakes. Though I do see from your tickers that you have something to look forward to in just a few months!

:lmao::rotfl2:

Ah.... I gotcha... Don't know ... just a meanie I guess....

Guess what we got for Christmas...???? you gotta guess....

A new puppy? A new camera? A new iPhone? A trip to Disney?

Mornin' y'all! Happy Last Friday of 2011!!! Woo hoo! SO ready to see this year go.

Mean Queen - yes, I have a little something on the horizon for June. The FL part is a must, as it involves all of us getting down there to spend some time with my dad. I'm honestly not sure if he'll be flying anymore at this point, and he hasn't seen anyone but me in over a year. The MK part of that trip is a "hopefully." Depends on whether I can swing the extra $$. But if I'm able to book the condo I want, we'll be beach-front so regardless of anything else, we'll be out there in the surf plenty! (or, in my case, spending my mornings on the deck with coffee and the evenings with my glass of wine.....watching the sunset......:cloud9: )

Anywho!....supposed to take DS10 and DS12 over to VT today to a museum we used to enjoy going to. There's some nasty weather coming but the advisory is for 1am tonight. I'm hoping we just get a few flurries while we're out. Thank goodness for the Outback!! I'm getting used to this 4wd thing.

daisyyy we've made several guesses!!!........TELL US!!....popcorn::

.

....hmmmm, I think she won a million, gazillion bucks and she's taking us all to WDW! popcorn::

[....hey, it could happen....]

...you've been kinda SCARCE in these here parts lately...

I can't believe Christmas vacation is almost over.

I know. Mixed blessing for me. I had the week off from work and really enjoyed the down time, but when I don't work I don't get paid. The kids have enjoyed their nice long week. They don't go back until next Tuesday!

How was your Christmas?

.

It was good. We stayed home for the most part, but now I have some work staring me in the face that I can't ignore anymore. I did good, though, convincing Sweetie to change over to Pop Century.

Yeah, there are "park" trips and "resort" trips.....If it's a park trip, the resort is more or less just a place to sleep! Of course you really can't go wrong at Disney anyway. :goodvibes

.

Yeah, this is definitely a park trip. We're doing the water parks, too, and using the lunches for the deluxe dining plan as our downtime.

It's just a place to sleep and since there are only the two of you, you don't have to worry about the size of the beds. The deluxe plan sounds nice! I'd love to try that sometime.

I think I've made a reservation everywhere! I think I'll end up driving a lot, because I'd hate to rely on Disney transportation too much. I'll drive anywhere except the Magic Kingdom.
