August 31, 2014 Dream

Hi All-

We are first time Disney Cruisers and are so excited to join all of you over Labor Day. I will be with my husband and two of our three daughters - ages 8 and 9.

I just sent a FB request (from Kerri Henning Sallusti) to the join in on the FE fun. Let me know if I need to do anything else to make sure we get included. Now, I just need to get creative.

Thanks for all of the advice and info from the DCL experts leading the way for us first-timers! Appreciate it.

We are new cruisers, but so excited. Decided a boat with our 3 year old might just be better than Disney. Hope so! I FB the FE link. We'd love to join in.

Sorry for some of the declines on the Facebook page but our FE group for this cruise is closed with 20 members. If anyone wants to start another group we would be glad to help get you started. 20 cabins is all we could maintain and afford. Thanks!

Sorry to hijack but we are trying to meet some people who are going on this cruise and I wasn't allowed to join the Facebook group mentioned above so Ive created another one.
facebook.com/groups/labordaydisneydream14/ This is open to all without limits. Cant wait to meet you all!

Hey everyone!

I just discovered this handy little thread as I was looking up tips & tricks. I have never been on a cruise before and this will be my husbands first time sailing with Disney. We have chosen this little getaway as our Honeymoon  and the cruise is being preceded by 1 day at Epcot. I am looking forward to seeing what Disney magic the cruise will sprinkle onto our honeymoon and who knows, maybe we will get to meet some of you! :yay:

p.s. any help choosing between Palo or Remy? Brunch or Dinner?

Just in case anyone was wondering. Here is the list of movies playing on Dream Aug 31.

Finding Nemo 3D
Frozen
Captain America Winter Soldier
Million Dollar Arm
Planes Fire and Rescue
Gaurdians of the Galaxy
100 ft Journey

Sorry Duane you felt like you were not "allowed" to join our group but our group is specifically for the "Fish Extender Exchange". Adding you would mean an additional cost for ALL the members of the group because we purchase items for everyone in the group to give away while sailing (hence the exchange). It is not only for a meet and greet. This is why as I explained in my post 20 families is all we could maintain and afford. Hope you have a great time on the cruise!

My two best friends from college and I will be on board and we cannot wait! We did a 3-Night on the Dream last year and decided it wasn't long enough.

Cannot wait to enjoy delicious food, the pool, and uninterrupted quiet time on the sea!

Y'all will absolutely love being on board the Dream! We did Palo dinner last year and it was amazing, we are doing it again on this trip. We also booked Remy Champagne brunch for the day at sea but after reading reviews want to switch to Palo brunch.. I'm sure either are equally good though. I can dig around and see if I bookmarked those links with the reviews and will post for you to read.

Hi Cruisers,
I just found this group and can't wait to meet some of you on the cruise next week!:cool1: My husband and I have only been on one other cruise 13 years ago, RCL. This will be our 5 yr old daughters first cruise. We went to WDW in April as a primer. Over the years, we have considered ourselves to be non-cruisers, but I am getting pretty excited since I have heard nothing but great things about DCL.

?-What do you do with your room key, credit card, etc when at Atlantis and the Dolphin encounter?

After reading through this thread, I didn't see where there were plans to do a meet-up on ship or did I miss this? We have 5 yr old and would love to meet some other families with little ones or without.:thumbsup2
