~ Aug 2013~ Sew what... We've gotta find a way back! Part I!!

First...and most important....

Happy Birthday Alli!!!!!

Sounds good... If you want, you can bring Brassy's swim trunks, and he can swim with the girls (or more than likely - V... Since Alli is more of a "tanning chair" girl these days).

Well, "Brassy" doesn't really swim yet. I have tried and tried to get him more comfortable with the water, but I can't get him to try going under. He puts on a floatie and splashes around, and at the zero entry pools (Poly & AoA) he can splash and play at the entrance. I hope to get him into the local swimming lessons this year, but we will see. I have very traumatic memories from those very same swimming lessons, so I am not going to push him, but it is a must that he at least learn how to survive if he falls in. We like to go to the beach/pool/river and to go boating, so he needs to learn.

I do want to be in MK by about 4pm though, so we have enough time to ride our favorites and get back to the resort at a decent hour.

Not a problem...we have an ADR at Boma that night, so we will need to get back to the resort (whichever one that might be :confused3 ) and get changed and over to AKL for the 6:15 ADR and a little early to explore. We are too stuffed after to do much exploring, so I want to get there early for that.

This (now named) Disney Pile holds many things...

Just wait until I drag the luggage up to our bedroom from the basement next week.

I have a Disney Pile too! It has all my ponchos, fans, misters, hats, etc. It is getting pretty full and that excites me!

I can't pull my luggage out until after the MOA trip....otherwise I will have some really strange clothes to wear while we go shopping :rotfl2: Of course, it wouldn't be any worse than Mo's ninja chicken shirt...

Happy Birthday Ali! Those pics are awesome! It's just not fair that they grow so fast.

Your trip is after mine and you are already ahead in the packing department. I'm glad you mentioned it because I realized a few items I need to get....ponchos, travel soap, and sunscreen. So, thanks!!

Those cakes look fun. Hope dinner was nice!

Happy birthday Alli! Glad you guys had fun shopping together! And V did an excellent job on the ice cream cone cakes! They are adorable!

So many teasers with the numbered list of trip points! What is the water park? To LTT or not to LTT? Inquiring minds want to know! :rotfl2:

I was just noticing that we will probably outgrow our own Disney box after this trip...and forget putting an travel sized items in it! And my 2 year old's Mickey spinner, which should be in the box is buried under all the car toys and books. I need to dig it out! What the point of the box if everything isn't in it some might say, I for one live for adventure! Always nice to have a kindred spirit on that! :rotfl:

ALRIGHT I"M CAUGHT UP :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

No quotes for me, but I started at page 180 to catch up and I have COMMENTS!

MARIE BAG - oh how I LOVE it! what cute interior fabric and I LOVE the little bow!

PINK CASTLE BAG. To Freaking Die For..... hmmm can I change my park bag order??? J/K :rotfl2:

ALI: I hope her foot is doing better now, the picture looked awful!

Kitchen : I LOVE all the designs you posted, I especially LOVE the pics of the mud room possibilities.... I like the open concept of the hooks and such. no closet needed.

V's Monsters Inc skirt is SO CUTE!!!!!!!

YOU ARE BOOKED FOR AIRFARE!!!!! HAPPY DANCE :banana:

BOG - I saw keep it! and you did. It is the only place to meet the Beast!

Animal Kingdom. We are at AK same day as you. I booked for an 8:30 breakfast at Tusker. I didn't realize that it was an Early Magic Hour day until you mentioned it, so I am thinking it would be smart to bump my breakfast to a later timeslot to get some stuff done earlier. Thoughts? We've never done EMH.

A bag that is scaring you :scared1::scared1::scared1: I wonder what that could be....

Bambi is SUPER darn cute! I love his expression!

Okay you've switched to POFQ, while I am super sad you won't be at POR, I'm happy you got what you wanted and saving $900+ is way more important than hot guys at Riverside Pool. Who knows maybe we will see you there. I am toying with the idea of switching to POFQ. If we do it will be a surprise for V on our off day. Tell the girls, I'll keep my eye on the hot men at Riverside for them..... ya probably will all be married but who knows, maybe I'll catch a winner!

Suzi, V and I will still be at POR (well at least for the first half) on our arrival day (the 20th) we'll have breakfast at O'hana, check in at POR, swim, head to Hoop Dee Doo, swim some more maybe then bed. I really need to check in with your PTR, I've hardly been able to get on DIS lately. How old is your son again? Maybe he and V can swim together if we are at the pool at the same time one day.

I made a note to talk about the Water Park, but I have no recollection of what I was going to say, other than, maybe.... we were going to do Typhoon Lagoon on arrival day, but not any more. V has picked Hoop Dee Doo instead.

You had talked about switching your AK and MK days on the 21st and 22nd. I'm thinking as of latest plans you aren't switching them, but if you do end up switching we will switch back too. I haven't let go of any ADR's yet.

OFF DAY. As per your latest plans, we will now have the same off day on the Saturday. We are planning to swim, DTD, swim at POFQ then head to park fare for early dinner. So maybe we'll see you at DTD or POFQ

The Dessert Party. V and I are planning it as well. I couldn't decide which day to do it now. Our original plan was 2nd MK day as our first MK day on the 22nd, V has BBB in the am and then CRT for dinner and it's an EMH and I don't think we will take a break. This leads me to want to do Dessert party this day because we won't have to stake out a spot for the parade and such, it will just be a bit more relaxed. I love the dessert party, so beautiful. I may be slightly disappointed that I may not have pics of V in her BBB attire in front of the castle all lit up, which I have the last two years, but I am making V a Wishes dress for sure! Our other option is the Dessert party on the sunday (25) which would be fine as well that was my first plan and will split stuff up more although we are booked for a tour that morning already. BUT touring plans has also thrown another wrench which is pushing for the dessert party on our first MK day (22). The crowd levels will be worse on the first day than the 2nd day. I think i'd rather fight lower crowd levels on the second mk day and relax at the dessert party on the first day.
Hmmm decisions decisions.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALI!!!!!!!!

OMG am I done? did I actually Catch up? :worship::worship::worship:
Ya right, but the time this actually posts, you'll probably be another whole page ahead!!!

Those icecream cone cakes are adorable! That is so sweet of V. don't you just love when your children show their love for each other?!

Enjoy your day. And thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

Love the family pictures

Mmmmm... Thanks Ruthie... I may have to try this for one of my menu options soon...

Looks like Ruthie saved the day!! Sounds yummy!

Yes, she did. :)

LOOVE the Biergarten. We've gone three or four times. I thought my picky DH would not find anything to eat, but he had plenty. By plenty I mean too much.

Awesome! This is good to know!

After I figured out what LTT is (We've eaten there and love it, but I tend to forget about it) and RuthIE posted the pasta recipe (you wouldn't happen to have the gravy recipe would you, RuthIE?) I think I'd drop that on a food heavy day. But we generally do one TS a day and wing it with CS (except for AK - then we skip breakfast and get BBQ as soon as it opens) So, our patterns are way different and you may just want to nod and smile at this point.

LOL I totally agree with the one TS per day... but each time we go to WDW, we end up adding a TS meal that we can't live with out... We are going to end up doing an extra MK day from here on out just to eat. :rotfl2:

Everybody else: have a good rest of the day and may your week be smooth sailing.

Thanks Ruth - you too!

Happy Birthday Alli

Sounds like you had a good shopping day with Alli even you had to go to every store and try on a milion things

I got a good answer on my qustion around health insurance in a PM. So don't worry about that one :thumbsup2

LOL

Happy Birthday Alli!!!

Thanks! I passed all the birthday wishes along to her. :wizard:

Glad you've been able to figure out changes that will work for you guys!

Well, I hope so... Still nervous about some of the decisions that were made yesterday.

Sorry I'm not very caught up this weekend but it's been a busy last few days for me. My DD goes to a co-op preschool and I have to work in a committee and I'm on the fundraising committee and last night we had the biggest event.... our auction!! Had to set up Friday night for about 4 hours, another 3 hours Saturday morning and then the event itself (which for me lasted about 6 hours!!) Not including all the collecting of donations that have been happening since the beginning of the year! Crazy day!!! We had a successful event and we should know within the next couple days how much we made for the school!

Sounds like things have been super crazy for you... So glad it all went well though - I hope the auction did well for the school.

First...and most important....

Happy Birthday Alli!!!!!

Thanks Suzi... I passed all the birthday wishes on to her... She said thank you.

Well, the FQ pool would be good for him then... It's much less busy - IMO. I agree, hopefully you can get him in to lessons soon. My girls have always been water creatures, so I've never had to worry about this.

Not a problem...we have an ADR at Boma that night, so we will need to get back to the resort (whichever one that might be) and get changed and over to AKL for the 6:15 ADR and a little early to explore. We are too stuffed after to do much exploring, so I want to get there early for that.

Only in Disney, can you know exactly where you are eating on which day and at what time, but not know where you are staying. :rotfl2:

I have a Disney Pile too! It has all my ponchos, fans, misters, hats, etc. It is getting pretty full and that excites me!

YAY!!! I thought I was alone in the "pile" thing. LOL

I can't pull my luggage out until after the MOA trip....otherwise I will have some really strange clothes to wear while we go shopping Of course, it wouldn't be any worse than Mo's ninja chicken shirt...

ROFL! :rolleyes1

Happy Birthday Ali! Those pics are awesome! It's just not fair that they grow so fast.

Thanks... Allison hasn't changed much over the years... When I look at her - I can still see all the features of when she was little. Now, V has changed a TON - you will see that when post pictures on her birthday in a couple of weeks, I think she looks nothing like she did when she was little. :confused3

Your trip is after mine and you are already ahead in the packing department. I'm glad you mentioned it because I realized a few items I need to get....ponchos, travel soap, and sunscreen. So, thanks!!

Glad I could help. Actually- there was something really important that I discovered yesterday we needed, and I didn't write it down... Now I can't remember what it was. :rolleyes1 Yikes...

Those cakes look fun. Hope dinner was nice!

Thanks - V does wonderful baking... The girls always tease me because V makes Alli's bday cakes, but I can't make V make her own cake, so she ends up getting a store bought one. LOL Which I don't get - because I bake all the time, I cannot imagine that I would purchase V a store bought cake (unless it's for a party...) :confused3

Happy birthday Alli! Glad you guys had fun shopping together! And V did an excellent job on the ice cream cone cakes! They are adorable!

Thanks Gretchen!

LOL - my Disney box was waaaay too small to begin with... I need to get a bin or something.

It is... She was good about resting it, elevating it and icing it all weekend.

V's Monsters Inc skirt is SO CUTE!!!!!!!

I've ordered her something special to go with it... Can't wait to show you all.

Ha ha

Yay!!! WTG!! Which means, I've succeeded in responding to your post too.!

Oh and MM on the couch so cute!

Gotta love MM... BTW - what did you end up naming your new little guy?

**********************************************************

Yesterday was very uneventful! As it was supposed to be... Strict Dr.s orders for Alli to rest her ankle, elevate and ice it yesterday. Which is what did - not the most exciting birthday for her... and I get the feeling she was a little disappointed...

But she had a wonderful gift... V saved up all of her babysitting $$ over the last few months and purchased her a Lifeproof case for her Ipod... I think the case is now worth more than the Ipod itself. :rolleyes1

And, of course, I took her shopping on Saturday... So, she had a few new outfits to add to her wardrobe.

Last night, Josh and I made her stuffed hamburgers on the grill with a side salad for dinner, then we all watched one of the Indiana Jones movies...

It was just a nice day at home.

I did NOT get to coupon... The last 4 weeks, I've had to email the paper and BEG for it to be delivered. As of yesterday, they just stopped delivering it all together. So, at about 1pm, I called them... The are redelivering it today... and forwarded the issue to "upper management" - hopefully I will get delivery again? Who knows? Kind of irritated about the whole thing. :headache:

Hopefully, I will have the time this week. I don't have anything left to stock up on, except for trash bags... So, that's good.

I was able to get one of my BIG auction bags cut out yesterday, I also started quilting. I organzied some of my fabric too... So that's good.

This morning, I have a dentist appointment right away, then V has an ortodontist check up... I should be home early, so I can get to work right away.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I hope everyone is feeling better. Have a great day all! :grouphug:

D~

I feel like i've been away for months! I missed so much!
Love the new plans. RuthIE can come by whenever to cook all her LLT for me...
The cupcake/cone/birthday cake looks awesome! what with all the food talk for the last 2 pages?!?!? :confused3 Thanks now i am hungry...

I see chef Mickey's is STILL in the works! :cool1: I am asking for one favor. I want LOTS AND LOTS of pictures and a very descriptive report on the dessert party please.

kinda excited to hear about the water park too!!! we haven't done either one and i don't believe we ever will. Tusker house breakfast! YUMMMM!!!

I agree about Disney food. Not that amazing.. :duck: actually i can do without most of it, with a few that i can't wait to get back to like TONGA TOAST. I hope your Germany experience is what is expected! I may follow in your footsteps! Tom is 95% German.

oh.. Did you tell her i said happy birthday?!? :lmao:

So double posting isn't helping BUT the PP was correct on the 250 pages mark. your going to go about 350 on your report.
I am glad i can contribute on the nonsensical ramblings that went on to make your report longer then needed! :thumbsup2

I'm hoping my interesting quote coding changes work (shrugs)

Personally - if it's an EMH day, I would not waste my precious EMH time eating, but that is just me. I'd rather eat later, once the crowds start filling in, and then excape for a few hours after I eat. But that is just me...

Yes, I ended up deciding to just try and book another reservation and I did. It was either 9:30 or 10:25 so I booked 10:25. We won't break this day since it is our only AK day so better to take advantage of that hour anyways. of course that is assuming we can make it there for that time!

LOL I will let them know... Maybe you can drag them all over to FQ? D~
I should say I meant we will do a split stay and move to POFQ on the Friday. I won't totally give up POR!

I am glad V picked HDDR - I've heard great things about it, and it's something I would love to try some day. D~

HDDR is AWESOME! we did it last year and it is just so much fun.

If I can get the one ADR I need yet - then we will switch them... I've been checking several times a day, but no luck yet. Sigh. D~
Is that your BOG one?

I am pretty sure we are doing this our first MK day... HOpefully I can figure out which day this will be before we need to make our reservations for this... D~

Is that your arrival day? We did the dessert party on our arrival day last year, worst decision ever! It set us off for the trip. Late night on the first night was not good. Mind you, V was 5 and your girls are a tad older!

Gotta love MM... BTW - what did you end up naming your new little guy? D~

His full name is Cedarpoints RogueBoma On Fire I am posting some new pics on my FB today of him and Khaleesi.

Still trying to figure out this whole LTT vs. CRT vs. Dessert Party all in one day thing...

What if....

And I HATE doing this....

But, what if we did a late LTT lunch on the day of our arrival?

We are planning to go in to MK anyways... Our flight is scheduled to land at Noon... It is not a "deposit required" ADR...

If you haven't guessed... The girls absolutely refused to give up LTT under any circumstances...

So, we could keep our LTT ADR for later in the week, just in case something happens and we can't make it that first night. But if we can make it that first night - we can just cancel our reservation later in the week. I don't normally like doing this, and it's not something I would do, but since it isn't one of those hard to get ADRs - I don't feel like I am hoarding ADRs.

What do you all think about this idea?

As a rule - I don't do ADRs on our arrival day... I don't like having a schedule that day and I don't like the feeling of needing to be somewhere in a situation I have no control over.

But it would free up our other day of "too much food"...

:scratchin Thoughts?

I think that is a great idea and would get the girls to survive until then with the promise of LTT

What are you implying?? Are you saying I might possibly have a problem with decisions?? Ummm...well actually, I have pretty much decided on a resort. But I'm keeping it secret until the discounts come out *insert whistling smiley guy when I get to a computer*

What about doing the Dessert Party arrival night? What a way to welcome you to Disney. Then you can go right to bed after??

Hurrah for a nice quiet weekend. Boo for the paper issues.

I kinda like the idea of the first day lunch/dunch LTT.
Speaking of LTT Thank you RuthIE for the gravy recipe!! I'll have to try it next Thanksgiving (the only time turkey is made in our house.)

I am currently enjoying a long weekend. Enjoying it because I then have to work 6 days in a row with 1000+ school people scheduled in, 2 special events AND the beginings of scheduling for the Summer. Sigh...I love my job, but this time of year stresses me out.

Have a good Monday!

I had to go on my computer to see all of the pictures on a bigger screen. V's cupcakes look yummy. What a sweet sister.

I love seeing all the pictures of Alli thru the years. :goodvibes

Your plan for LTT for a late lunch / early dinner sounds like a winner. I'm sure you will cancel if you can't make it to the park for the reservation and I know you will cancel your other reservation as soon as you finish eating at LTT. Its not as if you have two for the same time. The Disney app makes it pretty easy to cancel or via the cancellation phone number.

As much as I would love to see what you make at the Lake, you must remember that vacations are supposed to be just that - a break from work. I know you guys enjoy your time at the lake so having your sewing machine along will be a huge distraction.

Whew, I got quite a bit behind with Mom & DB here for the weekend! Let me see what I can remember.

First of all a late Happy Birthday to Alli!

Your first day plans sound good. Adding LTT for lunch might not be a bad idea. I've done ADRs on my first day the last two trips and was fine. With Mom we did LeCellier lunch and my last trip I did Rose & Crown dinner. If you think the girls might get too hungry if you schedule a later lunch you can always grab a snack at the airport before getting on the ME.

I have never eaten at Biergarten so I can't really give you an opinion on that one. The menu just doesn't appeal to me, I'm not a fan of sausage or pork and that seems to be the majority of the food there. I'm also not so keen on the community seating. Mom and I did eat at Chefs De France and were kind of disappointed in the food.

I love the Cupcake cakes that V made! One of my employees has a b-day this week and I need to get something for her. I'm not sure I'll have time to make anything but maybe my local grocery store makes something like that. I'm going to have to check.

I know there was more I wanted to comment on but I can't remember at this point!

Sounds like things have been super crazy for you... So glad it all went well though - I hope the auction did well for the school.

I got the numbers quicker than I thought I would!! We had about 60 people there and we raised in that one night......... $8,400!!!!! Pretty good considering last year we raised about $11,000 and had about 80 people!! Now we get to replace some of the playground equipment, build a climbing wall inside and replace the wooden "stage" that gets transformed into different things throughout the year (like a train, mail truck, boat, fire truck, etc). Pretty exciting to see that our hard work paid off!!

:grouphug:

D~

Glad that Alli was able to rest her foot.

That was sweet of V to spend her money on something special for her sister.

Ugh about the newspaper!! It is frustrating when they don't do what they are supposed to do. I've cancelled mine numerous times and then they tell me oh we can give you a great deal and you'll never have to call again!! Yeah right! I'm calling about every 3 months to get it fixed!! Next time I'm done!!

Good luck today on completing everything you want to get done.

I feel like i've been away for months! I missed so much!
Love the new plans. RuthIE can come by whenever to cook all her LLT for me...

I know - I was thinking the same thing.

The cupcake/cone/birthday cake looks awesome! what with all the food talk for the last 2 pages?!?!? Thanks now i am hungry...

Me too...

I see chef Mickey's is STILL in the works! I am asking for one favor. I want LOTS AND LOTS of pictures and a very descriptive report on the dessert party please.

I promise to take lots of pictures... But I am not sure that Chef Mickey's is still in the works... I still have lots of kinks to work out with our schedule.

kinda excited to hear about the water park too!!! we haven't done either one and i don't believe we ever will. Tusker house breakfast! YUMMMM!!!

Me too... I watched one ouf our Disney travel DVDs last night, and the water parks look like so much fun!

I agree about Disney food. Not that amazing.. actually i can do without most of it, with a few that i can't wait to get back to like TONGA TOAST. I hope your Germany experience is what is expected! I may follow in your footsteps! Tom is 95% German.

I know - isn't that sad. I had such high hopes for Ohana dinner last time, and it really was underwhelming. I remember their breakfast being rather good though - but we are really big breakfast food fans.

oh.. Did you tell her i said happy birthday?!?

At least 13 times. LOL

So double posting isn't helping BUT the PP was correct on the 250 pages mark. your going to go about 350 on your report.
I am glad i can contribute on the nonsensical ramblings that went on to make your report longer then needed!

Alright - I am going to have to come up with a catchy new title then? Can't I just say "Part 2"?

I'm hoping my interesting quote coding changes work (shrugs)

Yes, I ended up deciding to just try and book another reservation and I did. It was either 9:30 or 10:25 so I booked 10:25. We won't break this day since it is our only AK day so better to take advantage of that hour anyways. of course that is assuming we can make it there for that time!

LOL - I know, that's half the battle.

I should say I meant we will do a split stay and move to POFQ on the Friday. I won't totally give up POR!

Ahhh, got it.

HDDR is AWESOME! we did it last year and it is just so much fun.

I remember you saying that.

Is that your BOG one?

Nope - it's actually a Tusker House one...

Is that your arrival day? We did the dessert party on our arrival day last year, worst decision ever! It set us off for the trip. Late night on the first night was not good. Mind you, V was 5 and your girls are a tad older!

No... This would be on the evening of our first MK day (the 21st, I believe?) - I agree with your line of thinking, and I am just afraid it will be too much to do that first night. I like to get back to the resort early and get to bed early the day we arrive... with all that traveling - even though we are excited to be there, it takes a lot out of you. So, we won't be doing the dessert party that night.

His full name is Cedarpoints RogueBoma On Fire I am posting some new pics on my FB today of him and Khaleesi.

Awww, Cute! I will have to find your pictures.

Oh how nice of V! Yum stuffed burgers! what were they stuffed with?
The newspaper thing is something that has happened to us before ridiculous, my mom just kept calling and calling and calling. D~

Umm... Josh put in cheese, onions, green peppers... I think that's it? They were very tasty.

yah - I still don't have my Sunday paper. They've rescheduled it for delivery twice now. Sigh.

D~

Yup - I am quoting myself... I'd still love more opinions on this. :lovestruc

I think that is a great idea and would get the girls to survive until then with the promise of LTT

Not sure if the girls would survive until 4 PM with out any food, and only stale airport muffins... I am sure I would have to feed them something else in there to tide them over... Not sure what or from where... Probably something little at FQ?

What are you implying?? Are you saying I might possibly have a problem with decisions??

I would never imply such a thing. :rolleyes1

Ummm...well actually, I have pretty much decided on a resort. But I'm keeping it secret until the discounts come out *insert whistling smiley guy when I get to a computer*

I think you've said that every day for the last 2 months... popcorn::

What about doing the Dessert Party arrival night? What a way to welcome you to Disney. Then you can go right to bed after??

I thought about that... but we wouldn't get back to our resort until after 11pm, and I just can't do that to the girls after a long day of travel. We have to be up at 4am that morning, so I think that is just too late. I wanted to be back to our resort and tucked snugly into bed no later than 9pm. :thumbsup2

Hurrah for a nice quiet weekend. Boo for the paper issues.

Yah - still waiting on my Sunday paper to be delivered. I wouldn't care so much if I didn't have a grocery trip to plan, and I can't do that with out my coupons. :(

I kinda like the idea of the first day lunch/dunch LTT.
Speaking of LTT Thank you RuthIE for the gravy recipe!! I'll have to try it next Thanksgiving (the only time turkey is made in our house.)

I kind of like it too... Right now, I have a 2:50pm ADR, and I think that's way too early. Our flight doesn't arrive until 12:15, so I think that's cutting it too close. I am going to keep stalking the website for something more like 3:30-3:45 (they start serving dinner at 4... and we for sure want lunch).

I am currently enjoying a long weekend. Enjoying it because I then have to work 6 days in a row with 1000+ school people scheduled in, 2 special events AND the beginings of scheduling for the Summer. Sigh...I love my job, but this time of year stresses me out.

Have a good Monday!

YIKES!!! I hope you have a good week and it isn't too stressful for you.

I think............
your going to be very busy eating and not enough time for the parks.

Probably. LOL

I had to go on my computer to see all of the pictures on a bigger screen. V's cupcakes look yummy. What a sweet sister.

I know - she has a VERY love/hate relationship with her. LOL

I love seeing all the pictures of Alli thru the years.

Thanks... It's so sad seeing them grow so fast.

I think so too... I just want our current ADR for a bit later - I will keep trying for it.

As much as I would love to see what you make at the Lake, you must remember that vacations are supposed to be just that - a break from work. I know you guys enjoy your time at the lake so having your sewing machine along will be a huge distraction.

I know - I know, but I jsut have so much to get done, and no time to do it.

Whew, I got quite a bit behind with Mom & DB here for the weekend! Let me see what I can remember.

I hope you had a nice visit with them Ariana!

First of all a late Happy Birthday to Alli!

Thanks - I will pass along the birthday wishes to her.

This is good to know. It doesn't stress you out too much that you have somewhere to be? Good idea about grabbing some grub at the airport... Even just a little meal would tide us over until our early dinner.

The menu looks quite good to us... I am just so unsure about Chefs....

I love the Cupcake cakes that V made! One of my employees has a b-day this week and I need to get something for her. I'm not sure I'll have time to make anything but maybe my local grocery store makes something like that. I'm going to have to check.

I've never seen anything like that at our local grocery store - maybe at a bakery? I hope you find something for her.

I know there was more I wanted to comment on but I can't remember at this point!

No worries, glad to see you Ariana!

I got the numbers quicker than I thought I would!! We had about 60 people there and we raised in that one night......... $8,400!!!!! WHOOT - that is AWESOME Sandra! Congratulations!

Glad that Alli was able to rest her foot.

Me too - she seems to be doing much better.

That was sweet of V to spend her money on something special for her sister.

She is very thoughtful like that. :lovestruc

Yah - I still don't have my Sunday paper... It was supposed to be redelivered on Sunday, then it was supposed to be redelivered yesterday, and then it was supposed to be here today... The delivery cut off on weekdays is 6:30... I will give them some extra time though - since we did have a snow storm last night.

Good luck today on completing everything you want to get done.

Thanks Sandra!

**********************************************************

I was able to get one of my BIG auction bags cut out and quilted yesterday... I really wanted to get started on the applique, but I was distracted by other things in the afternoon... Sigh... Oh well - back at it today, hopefully I can get a lot done!

I had a dntist appointment yesterday morning - so it really threw my schedule off for the entire day. But I have clean teeth out of the deal - so that's good. :thumbsup2

We woke up to 6" of fresh snow this morning... Really super sick of winter right now. :headache:

More trip debate...

Well, I took the plunge and I swapped my first MK and AK days for better crowd predictions. I have not been able to secure the exact times I'd like for all those ADRs, but I am close... I will continue to stalk the Disney website and hope that I get what I need.

The girls have asked me to stop talking about Disney for a while... :( So, don't be surprised if I start doing multiple Disney planning updates every day, because it's bad to lock it all up inside - you know? :rolleyes1

I've been reading a lot of threads about shipping to our resort. Normally, I wouldn't do this, but I need to find a way to get some Gatorade to us in Florida. I think I may ship from either Walmart or Amazon. I am a bit hesitant to do this, because that Gatorade will be heavy, but I don't know how else to do it, and by doing it that way - it's pretty economical. Now, I am trying to decide, if along with the Gatorade, I should ship a few snacks? We were pretty OK with out snacks last time, but there were a few times we were in our room at the end of the night with munchies and we didn't feel like running down to the food court. We survived, but it's something I am consdering. Nothing major, but just a couple items? Do you all normally do snacks in your room?

I am super excited because I ordered a couple of really fun accessories from a FB friend... I can't wait to get them... Not sure if I will show you all now, or wait for our TR... But I am very excited about them!

OK - I think that's all of my trip ramblings for now... popcorn::

I hope you all have a wonderful day... and I hope everyone is recovering from everything going on in your lives... I've been thinking and praying for all of you.

D~

having computer issues this morning..

I really HOPE you keep Chef's Mickey!!! especially since you haven't done it.
It's one of the better food places!!! Wish it would re-open for lunch. it's a top 5 yummy food.
I agree with Ohana too. We have two Brazilian steakhouses here that is KILLER! YET Tom won't give it up and we go there every time.

Yes Part 2 works just fine. you may have a part 3 & 4 if this keeps up! i can only imagine the trip report and how many chapters that will be!

Snacks are ALWAYS a good deal in the room!!!

NO SECRETS i want to know what you ordered!!! pixiedust:
