A Disney cruise sounds wonderful! Someday .... :cloud9:

Packed???:rotfl: Funny, you are. I do have the 7 suitcases out...and I've gone through all my clothes and Faith's clothes. But, that's as far as I have gotten. Will certainly do it this weekend....times a' tickin'! SEVEN suitcases!!! OH MY! :scared1:

QUOTE]

Wow I tried to go back and catch up with all the chatting that was going on while I was SLEEPING! Why am I the only RCer on Pacific Coast Time? :confused3

I'm on pacific time from April to November. We do not go on daylight savings here.

You're a short ride from me :goodvibes

AKL CL has tea and scones in the afternoon...they are as yummy as the scones at GF

 It is so weird, I have had diapers, bottles, cribs so long....it's nice though. We get to have fun now....:goodvibes

I need to book my flights for August, keep checking fares...they are not going down, I really need to pull the trigger!

 :lmao:

All your sweet pics are awesome. Love your illuminations view. The GF view not so great. But the suite is lovely :cloud9: Dani I agee BOOK and cancel if you change your mind! :thumbsup2
Book, you can always cancel, no penalty....

Or ch-ch-changes ;)

I'm partial to Coach..but I love Disney Dooneys :confused3

Mama LindaYou keep disappearing from my multiquotes...perhaps I'm on Pacific Coast time as well  I may be the shy grannie but I didn't think I'd disappear all together! :rotfl2:

I really must get something done today besides sitting at my computer. :surfweb:

Good morning RC ladies!

Grumpy Grandma, you are not the only RCr on Pacific Coast Time..I just wish you were closer to Palo Alto, I would be meeting you today . Next time.

Gwynee, beautiful dress!

Disneydreamin, DO IT! I would never pass up at chance to go to the RPC!

I heart the mouse, great pictures of the suites at both the GF and BWI. Thank you for posting the pictures.

Mousemommy, Happy Anniversary! Have fun at Foxwoods!

Lillian Gracey, I live close to pas, it would be so fun to meet you!

Hstrickland, your trip is getting so close. You must be excited :yay:

Janet, thank you for keeping track of us all :grouphug:

Pas, no more diapers, YAY. You should definitely treat yourself to a purse :). It is bittersweet when they grow up. Milestones are wonderful, but all of a sudden they aren't babies anymore. How is it that my oldest daughter is going to be 29 next month and is getting her PHd? She is still my little girl

My daughter is on her way over to the hotel. Time for a little mother daughter shopping!

I'm confused :confused3 which is easy for me these days! I thought you lived on the east coast near Janet and Jeannette?

Yes we will meet up next time you are around! Have a wonderful time at the graduation .... you should be so proud!!!! And mother/daughter shopping is always great!!! :)

Payday is here and I still have no resolution to my RPC conundrum. Commit? Don't commit? Book something else? Help RCers!

Another vote for "Go for it!" ... you can always cancel, if need be. But at least you'll have it! :goodvibes

Grumpy Grandma: You're just our resident night owl, no foolin' us! :thumbsup2 On my Facebook feed, I always wake up to lots of "late night" goings-on from all of my cousins in San Diego; I always think of them as the night owls. :coffee:

AKL CL has tea and scones in the afternoon...they are as yummy as the scones at GF

:rolleyes1 Further ammunition in my case for AKL-CL! We did afternoon tea at GF last year; the scones and clotted cream got an official thumbs-up from my Englishman. AKL ... oh, why do you haunt me so?!

*********

Just got off the phone with YC&BC IPO. They're helping me with a little in-room surprise. I've got it all set... until I decide to add something else, that is! :thumbsup2 They've been so helpful.

Right now, I've arranged the following:
  • 3 Halloween Cupcakes
  • 3 Champagne Flutes
  • 1 Bottle of Sparkling Cider (I was going to do Champagne too, but you need to be in the room for them to deliver it.)
  • 1 Minnie & 1 Mickey small Halloween Plush
  • 1 MNSSHP Pin

I was trying to think of any other non-candy Halloween item they have available at that time of year which might be nice. Anyone know of something good and Halloweenie I could add?

The problem with agent rates is that even though it's room only they have the same terms as a package. If I commit it's all in or not at all. :scared1: I'm worried we may feel out of place after our SL experience (although I did see some bikers floating around RPC last time!).

All in is scary, but I wouldn't worry about feeling out of place. There were all kinds of people there. Even one family in their jammies and slippers.

I don't think the GF has a type. At the end of the day, it's just another place to stay while visiting WDW!

:thanks: as long as they make you smile and not cry!...or put fear in ya....like the ship pic:laughing:
Off to the pool! Chat with y'all when we get back!:beach:
I was still smiling though!!!:thumbsup2 Later!

 :lmao:

Very little hope of fares going down now...if it is SW of course you can book now, watch for a Ding, then save money later. ::yes::

I'm partial to Coach..but I love Disney Dooneys :confused3

I have a little Coach bag I've been taking to Disney for years...it is my official "Carry around the parks" bag. I used to only carry Coach, but now have a couple of Dooney & Burke, though I still like Coach better, haven't been crazy about the styles the last couple of years...not crazy about the prices either!:rotfl:

Would it be too strange to have a Disney Dooney & Burke bag on my bucket list???:rotfl2:

I really must get something done today besides sitting at my computer. :surfweb:

So good to hear from you, Sarah! Glad you arrived safe and sound and now out shopping with your daughter - sounds like a perfect day! Such an exciting time - know you must be incredibly proud. :goodvibes

Hmm... a $$$ commitment is hard...but I am going to go out on a limb and say if you're having so much trouble making a decision then I don't think your heart is truly in it...certainly, I don't want to sway you either way....but if you were really excited and knew you'd all enjoy then you'd be excited to book, yes? What about CR with an MK view for the night? Wouldn't it be fun to be cuddled up with your babies watching Wishes from the bed?:cloud9:

Big hugs!!

Hi RCers! :wave2:

Oh boy, what a busy work week I have had. :scared: So glad it is almost over. I won't even try to multi-quote but I skimmed and will jump back in. So much fun stuff going on with you all. It is great to see some RCers back onboard. :goodvibes

Yay! I don't feel so alone now!!! :yay:

I'm in Alberta, Canada... So west coast time here too :) I wake up and there's so much chatter going on that I can't keep up!! :p
You are NOT alone dear Linda ;)

MM: Another VERY Happy Anniversary wish from me to you :) looks like you lucked out with a keeper too :)

PAS: Yeah for diaper free!!! That's a GREAT milestone, and what diapers cost, more money for the Disney Booty :)

I'm in the same no-multi-quote boat, MAGIC.

DD13 is "graduating" from middle school today - where did this year go? Janet, did middle school just fly by for you, too? I would love to hear about your Kidani stay, Janet. Were you in a one bedroom? If you could give me a quick/mini-TR of how you felt about the room's condition, the resort, etc... I'd appreciate it! I've only stayed at AKL.

MAGIC - exactly two months from today you'll be at the POLY POLY POLY!

A few minutes ago the phone rang and it read: DISNEY 407-824-1000 and I immediately thought, why is the CR calling me? I've never called them? Why do I even know all the MK resort numbers? So, it was just the WL IPO, which is actually at the Poly, so I have no idea why they were calling from the CR who shares only with the GF:confused3

Jeanette: Have you spent all the diaper money yet on a new trip?:hyper:. Please pass on my heartfelt congratulations to DS for his superior potty accomplishment!

Phew!! I won't even try to multi quote today!! I missed too much today, was working early today, and tonight is DH's surprise party! :cool1:

Happy Anniversary Candace!! 10 years is a big accomplishment!:thumbsup2

Heather, you are so close now!! :goodvibes

Pas congrats on the potty training! It is hard work, and so nice to be rid of diapers isn't it?? I would always rather an odd accident then diapers anyday...good for you!:goodvibes

Hi to all the other RCers today...:wave2: and thanks for the congrats about the cruise! You all are about the only ones who won't make fun of how far away it is!!:rotfl:

Oops, I missed these...

My daughter is on her way over to the hotel. Time for a little mother daughter shopping!

Oooh, shopping. You'll have to tell us what you bought! :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness....I absolutely love clotted cream and scones!! :cloud9:

Your in room surprise sounds perfect! So cute and you all will have so much fun!
icon_mickey_halloween.gif

Thank you -- hope the kiddo likes it! I'm going to have to come up with a little "Letter from Mickey & Minnie" too, to go with the goodies. :goodvibes

Have you tried the tea at GF? It was quite a nice little treat, glad we got to do it last year. I opted for the one with the champagne, of course! I always underestimate how filling cream teas are though. :scared:

Sarah hope you're having a blast!

Christine I feel kind of silly leaving the rest of the group for the night. I do want to try RPC, but it just seems weird to go to separate resorts for the night.

I lose more in the mulit-quote than I actually quote.:confused3

Congrats to your DD!!:cheer2: Times 'a flyin'!

I swear, most time I cannot remember what I was thinking 2 minutes ago, but let a Disney number pop up on the phone and I can tell you exactly who's calling! :rotfl:

Hi to all the other RCers today...:wave2: and thanks for the congrats about the cruise! You all are about the only ones who won't make fun of how far away it is!!:rotfl:

It's not far away at all! Have you noticed my ticker?? ;) Adding my congrats on the cruise!!:yay:

A letter would be perfect!!

Oh, yes, have been to the GF Tea a few times...I am not the best fit for it though because I only like the desserts...none of the food offerings or tea.:sad2: Maybe I haven't figured out what to order yet?

That's right we could do the Christmas Party? :confused3 I had completely forgotten about that. :rotfl2:
