Good Morning RCers!

DH arrived at the cabin yesterday so I'm no longer fighting off the bears by myself!! He completed his "honey do" list of little things in the cabin to fix. Now if I can just get him to help me transplant the flowers. Last night we were sitting here quietly reading and we had an earthquake .... the largest one we've ever felt in Lake Tahoe! We've been in bigger ones in San Francisco and Los Angeles but never up here in the mountains!

It's going to be a little too cold for swimming today so we're going to head over to Incline Village, the fancy part of the area, to take a walk and check out all the big houses but mostly all the pretty flowers! I think I need a trip to WDW during F&G!!!

Hello to everyone, old and new!

School is out and I took this week completely OFF! Starting Monday I will be keeping Drs. and Dentist's appointments, cleaning, driving to day camps, movies, library, etc... What a glorious week this was. I did absolutely N-O-T-H-I-N-G. .

We are working hard to try to get CR for my DS17. This is his "wish" trip because next August he will be in college. He has always wanted to stay at CR and to have dinner with an imagineer. Unfortunately, neither is available right now.

CR only has one room available, a 1br CL and there are no availabilities the entire time we will be there for dinner with imagineers.. I have been secretly checking for about 6 months for cancellations but it's not happening and our 45 day mark is very, very soon. Sooooo

I call to ask for suggestions and a very nice CM told me that the rooms would, most likely, open up after the 45 day mark and what we should do is change (yes change) from YC to a resort that would cost less than CR so that if CR opens up after our 45 day mark, changing to CR OR back to YC will not cost us a change fee. So.....I had to change resorts. I changed TWICE in one day. It doesn't even matter which resort I chose because I will be switching to CR or YC so why was I stressing? I changed to AKL and then I thought why not book a resort where I've never stayed but like but probably wouldn't stay soooooo, I booke CSR. . I know that they think I'm crazy but....changeritis is in my blood...

If anyone notices rooms at CR opening up, PLEASE let me know... My DS thinks we are staying at YC and I want to surprise him.

Hey Ladies!!!

Well, softball is now over!!!! As much as I love watching DD8 do her thing, I am glad that crazy 3-4 times per week schedule is over!!

We went and saw Brave ~ it was excellent!!!! . I cried, of course. We are now super excited to meet Merida in person!

I organized our travel folder...yes, we have a travel folder with all of our pertinent reservation info, vouchers,etc....22 more days to go!!!!

Jeanette-congrats on the new job!!!! More money and less hours is always a great thing!!!

Hannah- I'm a diamond girl myself but I like your idea of the blue topaz...it's very Princess Kate!

Well, I think we have some thunderstorms getting ready to roll through, but then it's going to be soooooo much cooler!!

I am. I really want to start packing but I can't...because we need suitcases and other travel stuff for our trip to MD on Friday. (for which, again, I have not packed a single thing)

I suppose maybe tonight I should start to get stuff together for MD, since this week is jam packed and we fly out right after I get out of work on Friday... *sigh*

Checking in! My one day off and it's pouring. I slept in until 12. I'm gonna hangout in the room till it lets up a bit. I found a couple places I liked, just need to go home and talk to DH. Movies is great except the Downtown Disney bus.

Friday I woke up and my right eye hurt so bad. After I took my contact out and calmed it down... I had a corneal ulcer. I called my eye doctor at home and the front desk said he'd call me back. I couldn't see out of it, and it was a watering mess. Finally he called 4 hours later and I turned into the first Walgreens I saw. He called me in Cipro drops. I was in a rough part of town and I was at the pharmacy for 2 hours. The drops have helped, but I didn't bring my RX sunglasses with me, and regular glasses in the rain don't really work.

That's about all the excitement. Congrats on the new job Jeanette!

I'm gonna go find something to do!
