As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

Oh, this is going to be good!:thumbsup2 I can't believe she brought that much stuff out for a short flight!:rotfl2: By the time you get in the air and have a snack, its time to prepare for landing again. Has she not flown much?
she over packs just to go to the grocery store!

Can't wait to read the rest of your TR. Sounds like lots of fun times with your MIL.:lmao:
it's much funnier in hind sight!

Your title caught my eye and I had to open and read. Now I'm hooked on your adventures--my family keeps asking me what I laughing at...thanks!
my family does the same thing to me! even my dogs look at me like I'm crazy.

:rotfl: my favorite was .. we are doing a very special project. please send your child with a blank white T-shirt, and any fruit or vegetable starting with the letter "A". and you have been chosen to provide "glitter" for the classroom.
was that all for one project?

any Mr. Bean fans? I am reminded of him preparing to take an exam, with numerous pencils, an alarm clock, and a "lucky" stuffed animal. some people like to surround themselves with "comfy" things from home. (and heaven help those sitting besides them!!!:confused3 )
I love Mr. Bean......he's one of our kids favorites! And MIL's social skills are very similar to Bean's!

on a separate note. if you like the movie, read the book, Gone With the WInd..
there is SO much more than is in the movie.
I have read it several times and love it! It is almost like a totally different story. I've also read Scarlet, the sequel writen by another author.

Was this you :rolleyes1 trying to pretend you didn't know DMIL?:lmao:

yep! but she kept talking to me...........and i'm to polite to ignore her.

Again, I was soooo glad I was several rows (almost 1/3 of the plane) behind her. She would have insisted I help her with all her cra..... stuff. During the rest of the trip I tried to convince her to not carry so much. Well, you'll see what happens.

That stinks that some of you were beginning to start a cold. That is my fear for our upcoming trip. I've basically had one continuous cold all winter long. I'm recovering from bronchitis right now. I'm hoping that we'll all be relatively healthy for our trip.

Too funny about your MIL on the plane! :rotfl: So much stuff for such a short flight. I bring along my iPod and I'm good. :thumbsup2

Yikes! I hope you are feeling better before you go!!
at least with a cold you can still get up and go to the parks. I'd much rather that than a stomach bug.:scared:

As I mentioned before, I was a little nervous about making our connection in SLC. We only had 20 minutes from the time our flight landed untill our connecting flight departed. We talked to the flight attendant when we got on the plane asking if there was a way to get us off the plane a little faster and they said all they could do was announce that their were some passangers who needed to get to a flight.

This kinda irritated me. I've been on flights before where they asked all of us to remain seated while those who had to get to a flight left first.:confused3 So, as were taxiing to the gate the attendant announced that there were several passangers who had close connections and if you didn't could you please let them go first............that was a joke.

Sine we were up front, Bailie, MIL and I got off fairly quickly. I asked where our connection was and it was in terminal D, we were in B. With about 12 minutes to go!!! I left MIL at the gate to wait for the boys and Bailie and I took off.
I seriously felt like I was in an episode of the amazing race! thank heavens for moving walk ways!:worship: We got there with 5 minutes left....everyone else was on the plane and the attendant asked if I was a "Kendall".....they had been waiting for us.

The boys showed up a few minutes later with , of course, MIL in the rear. We boarded the plane and I was informing D.Jay that I was NOT going to sit next to MIL when he asked me where the blue bag was..................:scared1: crap! I'd left the bag with all our swimsuits on the last plane. Just as I was about to ask the attendant if they could call and let them know I had left something another attendant asked if this was my bag! The other crew had found it and sent it over!:cloud9:

We got ourselves situated with D.Jay, me and Ethan on 1 row with the rest behind us....MIL was telling Bailie and Hunter that she needed the window seat because she didn't want to have to move a bunch of times for them to go to the bathroom.....................................well, suprise, suprise......guess who had to go 5 times???

Yep, she did.:headache:

About 4 hours later we landed in Florida!! We were all so excited.........I had to get this picture of MIL with the infamous "neck warmer"

You can also see ONE of her blankets in that picture.......

On our short walk to the monorail, we had to stop and wait for MIL about 5 times. But it was early on in the trip so I wasn't too annoyed.

When we got to the monorail, I noticed that MIL still had that thing around her neck!!:rotfl2:

Hunter likes to "surf" the rail.......

Bailie was in heaven when she found an Ipod machine...

Ethan was the "photographer" as we went throught the airport to ME...

The magical express counter was pretty empty when we got there!

We were directed to our line to wait for our bus.....MIL decided this was a good time to cram everything back in her bag........yep, she was still wearing her neck and shoulder warmer.:rotfl:
The sad thing is......she knew she was wearing it! I thought maybe she had just forgot about it, but nope. She was fully aware.

up next.....finding phil.....

I was lucky enough to go to Paris with my best friend in Oct 07 (2 wks after my WDW trip) She "had" to go for work, so the room was paid for. All i had to do was pay for my flight, food, souvies. Well we flew from Cleveland to Newark. Our flight in Cleveland was delayed. By the time we got to Newark we had like 10 minutes to catch our international flight which was in another terminal. We were not the only ones on our plane trying to catch a flight. We asked the attendants if we could be let off first...nope not happening. We RAN as fast as we could (and we were dragging a lot of crap bc the next flight was going to be a long one). We made it there just as they were closing the door. They were not going to wait for us at all. It really irritated us. And we knew that once on the plane that if we barely made it on there...then our luggage did not make it on there. We were right.

So I guess in a really detailed question...did your luggage make the connection??

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

that is too, too funny...

are we sure she isn't reading this...

I'm loving it! And by the smile on MIL's face, she's loving it too. Do you think you will ever be able to go back without her?

i have a feeling you will be doing a lot of waiting for MIL on this trip. maybe you should change the name to "waiting on MIL....." kinda like "saving private ryan." :rotfl2: i feel your pain. even though anna and chris are very capable of moving FASTER than ray and i, they never did on this last trip. in fact, we found ourselves waiting on them A LOT....like ALL THE TIME. but they have a 4 year old so that made sense. his little legs don't move as fast as ours do. i'm sure they all got really tired at looking at the back of our heads. by the 3rd day of our trip, we ended up splitting up a lot because ray lacks the patience factor when it comes to waiting. it was for the best.

Just as I was about to ask the attendant if they could call and let them know I had left something another attendant asked if this was my bag! The other crew had found it and sent it over!:cloud9:

what a relief!

I had to get this picture of MIL with the infamous "neck warmer"

and her tink shirt! :goodvibes what's so funny is i don't think i've ever seen anyone with a neck warmer on in FLORIDA!!!! :rotfl:

Oh man!! I hate those really really short layovers they are no fun!! I'm so glad you made it!!!

Wow...sounds like you are going to have quite the trip with MIL LOL!!!

Your airport race sounds like our trip last year. We also almost missed our first and second flight. I bet this is only the beginning of the waiting on MIL.

Oh this is too funny! I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot of laughing throughout this report. You definitely have a sense of humor, regardless how true the situation is!

Neck warmer = Tres Chic:confused:
Just maybe somebody, sometime told her they liked the thing :rotfl2:
