As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

Oh, I was so stressed for you trying to make your connecting flight!!! :scared:

MIL is too cute with her Tink shirt and her neck warmer!!!

Your MIL is hilarious! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
that's one way to look at it....;)

So was the neck warmer still warm? :rotfl:
the funny thing is, she never heated it up to begin with, so I have no idea why she was wearing it for 6 hours!

So I guess in a really detailed question...did your luggage make the connection??
Wow, you really had a close call!
Luckily our luggage did make it!

:are we sure she isn't reading this...
she's still speaking to me........:rotfl2:
She doesn't even know that I do trip reports.

I'm loving it! And by the smile on MIL's face, she's loving it too. Do you think you will ever be able to go back without her?
she will not be going with us next time..........it'll take awhile before I forget how painfull vacationing with her can be.;)

and her tink shirt! :goodvibes what's so funny is i don't think i've ever seen anyone with a neck warmer on in FLORIDA!!!! :rotfl:
Actually, that's my tink shirt......I was nice and let her borrow it...which will come into play as kinda funny later on in the report when she makes a comment about my size in relation to her.........

Oh man!! I hate those really really short layovers they are no fun!! I'm so glad you made it!!!
!
that's the first time I've encountered that......not fun!

Your airport race sounds like our trip last year. We also almost missed our first and second flight. I bet this is only the beginning of the waiting on MIL.
yeah, waiting on her becomes a theme!

:rotfl: :rotfl:
The kids photos! The neck warmer!
:rotfl: :rotfl:
she is a what not to wear episode waiting to happen!

Oh my goodness this is so funny! I love it!
thanks!

Oh this is too funny! I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot of laughing throughout this report. You definitely have a sense of humor, regardless how true the situation is!
humor is the only thing that keeps me from strangling her at times.

Neck warmer = Tres Chic:confused:
Just maybe somebody, sometime told her they liked the thing :rotfl2:
MIL has her own sense of fashion.........I'll buy her a nice "normal" outfit for christmas and by the time she's done with it and all her "accesories" it's un recognizable!

MIL is too cute with her Tink shirt and her neck warmer!!!

who knows, maybe she'll start a fashion trend.

After reading your report, I am starting to think all my flight drama would have made for good trip report reading. :lmao:

That stinks that some of you were beginning to start a cold. That is my fear for our upcoming trip. I've basically had one continuous cold all winter long. I'm recovering from bronchitis right now. I'm hoping that we'll all be relatively healthy for our trip.

Too funny about your MIL on the plane! :rotfl: So much stuff for such a short flight. I bring along my iPod and I'm good. :thumbsup2

Here's some PD for you! pixiedust: We leave town in 15 days, and I feel a cold coming on - I WILL NOT GET SICK. I WILL NOT GET SICK. I WILL NOT GET SICK.

At least the neck warmer was a pretty red! :rotfl:

That's so awesome about them getting your carry on bag to you! :thumbsup2

Bailie, in particular, is looking very grown up to me in these pictures. :goodvibes

I was thinking the same thing. She is growing. She is looking more like a teenager. She is a beautiful girl. I am sure she is a sweetheart too.

Oh Cherie reading that you and Ballie needed cold medicine worries me, I hope you guys don't get sick. Your TR with your MIL is going to be very funny I can see it already. I guess I should take notes because we're bringing my mom with us in November. She usually goes on vacation with us every year but never have we've been to Disney together. The plane should be interesting.

If your mom normally doesn't bother you, you should be fine.:thumbsup2

:rotfl: that's for Bailie being a sweetheart! She can be , when she wants to be....

I was really shocked when they had the bag there for us! I have no idea how they got it there so fast!
Bailie has changed alot since last year......I've noticed it alot while looking through the pictures from last trip.........

Oh no! I hope you stay healthy!! On the bright side, if it does hit you now, you should have plenty of time to get over it by then!

Trippy deja vu here! We were in SLC airport with a 35 minute layover (which turned into a 15 minute layover), running from D to B terminals, except add that I have asthma! We get to the gate and hear "Are you the Carrs?" Yes, yes, we are and can I please have some oxygen?:rotfl: Not funny at the time, but what is it with that airport? Do they people can just teleport from one place to the other? And, I left a bag under my seat of the plane we had just gotten off of, but no nice stewardess brought it to us! Know what was in it????? See's candy.

I have to know how your MIL warmed her little bean bag...did she bring a microwave, too??

maybe it's the slc curse??
So you lost a whole bag full of see's candy?:sad2: losing chocolate is alot worse than swimsuits!

MIL never warmed up the bag, so I still can't figure out why she was wearing it!:upsidedow

Awww - thank you! :goodvibes PD for you too! :tink:

Thank you! I'm resting up this morning! So far not too bad!

Cherie, I don't know what it is about SLC, but it has happened to us at SLC a few times too. We had to RUN from B to D or something like that when our DS was 3 mo old. I'm running through the airport with his head flopping all over the place, and DH is loaded down with carry ons. The gate people are picking up the phone and calling to hold the plane for us as we run by - we made it, and so did our luggage - I can't figure that one out yet!:confused3

What has happened to us is you get there, and they don't have a "parking space" for your plane, so you sit on the runway waiting for a spot while your connecting flight leaves.

Your MIL is so funny! I can't wait to hear more!

Hi Cherie, I'm a newbie to your TRs, but I can see why they have such a following -- and you just got to Fl! Your MIL is cracking me up!!! :lmao: LMAO The cold neckwarmer. hahahaha :rotfl:

Now I seriously can't wait till you get to Disney, and I'm so hoping you and Bailie stay healthy!! :wizard:

The "inspiring" comment, is a good thing, you are inspiring me to never take someone like your MIL to Disney World......
and your writing style is wonderful!:goodvibes

I am coming out of lurkdom! I love your trip reports and think you are VERY brave to take your mil to Disney(but I wouldn't take mine across the street).
I look forward to the rest of your trip report:donald:

Maybe MIL knows the secret to a comfortable plane ride.. maybe the warmer and the blankie and the bag with all the stuff made her feel right at home.. and then 4 hours didn't seem so bad.. hehe Maybe she knows the secret to the perfect plane ride.. hehe who knows. I'm glad you made it to your other flight... thankfully we have like 40 minute wait.. so hopefully I won't have to deal with that. We will see. I like the random goofy face pictures...those are the best. Did you have to wait a long time to get on the ME bus?

Loving the TR so far!! I almost had a MIL trip she changed her mind about going 2 months before we were supposed to go.....hmm well maybe she had so help....

Bailie looks so different from your last TR. She is very pretty. Any advice on the whole transformation in 2 seconds flat from wonderful daughter to "you are the worst mom ever" would be appreciated!! Its already starting at age 10 yipes!!

Can't wait for more!!:cutie:

Winkers,
Don't make us come get you to make you write another update. If Jordan can't hide from us in China, you won't be able to either.:rotfl: I hope you are having a great weekend.
