Does anyone know if I can combine a discount code and get the 8% back using eBates? Is it just one or the other?
I always thought they were so ugly and that i would never wear them.
She couldn't get past the "ugliness" so I might have to buy her a pair so she'll feel guilt to wear them![]()
Love em...plus they're great if it rains out....
My standard answer when someone asks me that question is "Would I wear shoes this ugly if they weren't comfortable?"
Sandy
I went with a friend to her podiatrist (or some foot doctor) because she was having a cast removed from her foot .. HE was wearing crocs (the FOOT doctor) .. I asked him if they are REALLY that good for feet ... he said yep - he wears them all the time... But he also cautioned that as they "wear down" you need to get new ones... He said he has "numerous" pairs ...
My problem is the soft rivet thing that holds the strap on the Croc rubs (equally, both feet) on the inner area of each foot.
I too am a convert. I swore I would NEVER wear them. They were way to ugly, didn't have a firm enough arch, and hated them when I would borrow someones to run out with the trash or to get the mail, etc. Thought they fit sloppy, and felt like i was going to "fall" out of them.....I believed all of that UNTIL....Until I broke a bone in my foot last June in France on the DCL Med cruise. I could get into my sneakers, let alone tie them. My Mom told me to try on her crocs....almost a year later she never got them back. It took a while to get used to them, as they do have a loose fit, but I owe a couple of pairs now, and will be getting both the Red Sox and Notre Dame in the future. I agree with the above poster about getting caught in the rain with them. And they are a breeze to clean, either in the dishwasher, or under running water. About the only time I don't wear them is out in the woods hiking.
I agree with those who advise socks. With socks crocs are awesome... without them the bottoms of my feet were rubbed enough that they started to get sore.
I think you may have bought them too small. The Disney Crocs are made to fit loosely. Your foot should not be touching either side (actually they shouldn't touch anywhere but the bottom) when you're wearing them.
It sounds like you are sure you don't like them but, if not, you might try a larger size or they make the "RX" version specifically for diabetics.
