Are crocs really that comfy?

I'm so glad you posted that one. I have a pair of primas that I kept walking out of they were so big. I never bothered to return them and left them in the back seat of my car after trying to wear them two or three times at school. Maybe they shrank in the hot car? I'll have to go see.

I love my crocs. I returned the Alice (mary jane shoe style) because I didn't think it was comfortable. I kept the prima even though they're not as comfy as the clog either because when I work in the clinic at school I have to have a closed shoe on and can't wear my clogs. I recently bought the sassari (wedge heel) and the cyrprus (higher heel with two thin straps X-ed across the front of your foot) and they're nice and comfy too. Of the styles I have, I would have to say comfort wise for me the clog style is the most comfortable. I have beach and cayman. Cayman is not as wide but both are equally as comfortable to me. Then followed by the mary jane sandal style, then the sassari, the cyprus, the prima and lastly the alice style. I didn't really like that one at all.

My problem is the soft rivet thing that holds the strap on the Croc rubs (equally, both feet) on the inner area of each foot.

Both feet had purple splotches, the left had some skin rubbed off even from it, and as I am diabetic... Crocs are out for me!

:confused3

The same thing happened to me with the slide on sandals. I can wear them from the house to the pool in the backyard, but that's it. If I walk much longer than that, my feet are bloody. I even pulled the rivets out, but the hole where they were still tears up my feet.

I don't know what to do! I've long been convinced that Crocs are ugly, ugly, ugly... but I kind of want a pair for my upcoming trip.

I've half convinced myself that the Mary Jane style is kind of cute... and the teal color is pretty... they're sitting in my cart over on ShoeBuy, but the code isn't working or they would probably be on their way to me now!

I tried the Anniversary08 code and it was not working yesterday. I did a search ?google? I typed in promotional codes for shoebuy and a 15% code came up.

I am not sure if this has already been said but.......

Crocks are great for cold feet! My feet get very cold in the winter time and this past winter I wore crocks and socks and my feet were toasty warm and I was a happy camper.

Crocs are awesome! I never wanted to wear them before because I didn't think they would be a good shoe for me...plus I wasn't sure if I thought they were "cute" enough. Well my friend finally convinced me to get a pair of the mary jane ones insisting that I would love them as much as her. And I fell in love instantly! They are the most comfortable shoe I've had in a long time. Less than a week after I bought my DS his very own pair...still can't get the DH convinced to wear them yet (he's picky). I plan on wearing my at WDW in a few weeks and I know I'll be fine. I might even buy a pair of Minnie ones ::MinnieMo

How do you know they fit? I've heard they are supposed to be loose, but don't they fall off?

I absolutely love my crocs, I wear them all the time. I bought a pair for my DH on-line and unfortunately he can't wear them. He's one of those people who has a longer second toe which made it stick through the front hole in the Crocs. So I just wear his pair when I work in the garden - way too big to wear out in public.:lmao: :lmao:

It seems like the plastic between the toes on the flip-flops and the strap on the slingback would rub blisters. Do they?

I went in dec the week of Christmas and I alternated between my regular crocs and my capri croc flip flops and my feet were fine and dandy the whole time. Of course you might have sore feet just from walking, but its not from the shoe itself...feet just get tired from walking just like your legs do. At least mine do anyways, but as far as comfort. I would never dream of wearing anything else besides these in the parks! The capri crocs have just a tiny bit of a heel so its not like the cheap flat old navy flip flops....your actually getting foot support, which is great if you happen to have flat feet like me. hth enjoy!

This is my first time considering a pair of crocs. I went on to shoebuy as the pp mentioned and was sooo happy to see flipflops. I have never been fond of the enclosed style. My dilema is I broke my leg 2 yrs ago and still have trouble with it.I have a titanium rod going straight down my bone, do you think the flip flops will give me great support? I have been looking for alternatives especially with my uocoming trip to Disney. Any imput will be great. Thanks!

ive heard different reviews on the mary janes. are they really good for WDW or should i go with a different style. And how do you know what size to get. I'm usually about a 5 in womens but it can vary depending on the shoe. Also does anybody know the code for shoebuys. thanks.

I love my Crocs - but my feet get hot in them in the summertime....so for all day WDW walking I just rely on my tennis shoes.......Crocs are great for trips to the pool/food court.

I tried on Crocs at the store and found them very uncomfortable. Just didn't like them. I also thought they were kind of awkward to walk in - kind of clumsy b/c they are bigger than my usual shoe. But I also do not have any foot problems like fallen arches, extra wide feet or plantar facilitis (sp - I know this is wrong).

the Crocs Capri style don't have plastic between the toe... its the same material as any flip flop! You won't get rubbed!!

I never liked flip flops, something about that piece between the toes bugged me and then I tried the Athens crocs. I think it is the way the middle piece fits but it doesn't rub my toes at all. The Athens flip flops also have a sturdy bottom so they are very comfy to walk in. I don't like my feet getting hot so I wear the Athens most of the time and then my Beach if it rainy or I am in the dirt somewhere and need a closed toe. I find the unisex styles of crocs more comfortable for me, the womens seem a bit narrower even though I have a med width.

I am very flat footed and I think the capri croc flip flops give great support. I knew immediately after trying them on then I loved them! hth

Crocs aren't the most fashionable foot wear but they sure are tha most comfy.
