Are crocs really that comfy?

This is my first time considering a pair of crocs. I went on to shoebuy as the pp mentioned and was sooo happy to see flipflops. I have never been fond of the enclosed style. My dilema is I broke my leg 2 yrs ago and still have trouble with it.I have a titanium rod going straight down my bone, do you think the flip flops will give me great support? I have been looking for alternatives especially with my uocoming trip to Disney. Any imput will be great. Thanks!

I would be scared to wear flip flops with your former injury, but I do think they would give you enough support. Mostly I would worry about tripping. I've caught the toe on my Crocs and managed to catch myself, but it was pretty scary. That hasn't stopped me from wearing them though, I haven't had on another brand of shoe since last May except for a pair of pumps for a dinner on a cruise (and swore at them for 2 days after).

In flip flops, I don't have Capris, so they might be different/more fitted. I have Athens and Ithacas and the Athens are by far the more comfortable of the two. The new Adara might feel more secure to you.

I rotate Beach (Disney run larger in small than plain small Beach), Cayman, Sassari, Cyprus, Athen, Ithaca, Mary Jane, Mammoth, Islander and Scutes and would be happy to talk about any of those styles for hours :rotfl2:

I would love to get a pair of Crocs, but the regular kind that I've tried on seem to be as wide as they are long! Is there a style of Crocs that doesn't run so wide?

Has anyone tried brands from places like Target and Kohl's? How do they compare?

My youngest says the ones at CVS feel exactly the same, but the ones from Walmart are awful. I had a pair from Walmart and I liked them until I bought "real" Crocs. There's no comparison. I also bought copy-cat Athens at Kmart and they're unwearable.

Primas, Celeste, Alice and Malindi are narrow.

Cleos feel a little more narrow than the flip flop styles, but that might be because they have straps across. Mary Janes are a little more narrow than Beach/Cayman.

Thanks! I was just checking th Crocs website and I like the look of the Celeste...I think I'm going to give these a try.

Yay, that makes it even better! Thanks again. :)

Your welcome, I just ordered a pair of Cyprus in bronze, they've been out of stock for several weeks. I should know better than to look at a Crocs thread, it always makes me want to buy another pair.

On Crocs.com, you don't enter the code until you feel like you're at the end of the order, the box finally shows up right before you submit. Watch out for the 50% off sunglasses offer, if you take it to look at the price, it cancels out your free shipping code and you have to start over.

My mom has been in Israel and Egypt for 3 weeks and lived in her Celeste Crocs (tons of walking), her plane is arriving in 5 minutes (waiting for her to call) and I know she'll have them on when we pick her up.

For those that hate crocs, you can get some stylish t-shirts at ihatecrocs.com... (would get many laughs at WDW or DL!)

These shoes do NOT work if your foot is at all narrow....:sad2:

I wear a size 5.5 narrow....I walk right out of these things.

They were also banned at the hospital where I work....due to the holes in the top of them....:confused3 It has to do with dropping sharps.

Personally, I just don't like how they look so I guess it works out I can't wear them....lol Its not fun having a skinny foot...just which my butt matched my feet....:rotfl2:

In a word Yes. They saved the day on my last trip. I wore the same sandels I wore the year before, but this year they really hurt and my feet were killing me and this was only the second day. I literally could not walk.

I was desperate and went to the gift shop and bought the crocs with the Mickey's on them and they saved the rest of my trip. I wore these babies for 9 days and my feet never hurt one bit.

I also wore them without socks and it was August and my feet did not get overly hot. I swore I would never be caught dead in these things when I first saw them, but now that is all I will wear when I go to Disney. They are like wearing Goodyear Tires for your feet.

crap. I have the super narrowest foot you have ever seen. Something ridiculous like a triple e or a or whatever it is.....it's been so long since a shoe actually fit me I don't even remember!!

Would a size down work? That usually does it for me.

I love my Croc Cleo's - much better style than the clown feet Crocs. And yes they are THAT comfortable.

I just got my Cleo's tonight! They're like walking on clouds! I LOVE THEM! :cool1:

I just got the Cleo's & I don't think they're near as wide as the Cayman or Beach crocs.
