Is it a two person raft or better for single riders (adults)?

It is a 2 person raft but you can ride it alone, of course. A child needs to be 7 yo and 42 inches to ride it alone. Under those requirement, they must ride with someone 14 and older.

There was also a minimum height to ride as a passenger. They really made my tiny kid prove it too. They had her get under the sign and push up to prove she was that tall. She was just barely tall enough. I want to say it was 38 inches but I may be wrong there.

Am I the only one who finds the high winds thing kind of disturbing? Like, is the other person in the raft with you the only thing keeping you from blowing off the ship? 😳

There’s absolutely no possibility for you to “blow off the ship” but the winds could stop you from going over the upward portion of the ride if the raft is not heavy enough. You could get stuck there, and they would have to come get you.

Ahhhh that makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying!

How scary is it for a person who wears contact lenses and hates water splashed in her face? Asking for a friend….

Goggles are a good idea. I, personally, didn't find it all that scary. Mostly like an elevated lazy river ride. There is a bit of a drop at the beginning, though.

It isn't that splashy & doesn't end with a big splash in your face. You're sitting up the whole time & always in shallow water. It isn't scary, unless you're the type who finds any waterslide at all scary. I don't like scary waterslides (like the Aqua Dunk on the Magic). The Aqua Duck (Dream & Fantasy) isn't scary. It's fun. I wear contacts on it every time & would never consider not wearing them due to fear of splashing on that ride.

It mainly splashes your back if you're the rear rider as you crest over the high part of the coaster section of the ride. You should have very little that hits your eyes.

The worst part for me is getting out of the raft. It is not a graceful thing to see.

Yup. I look like a beached whale trying to flounder its way back to the water, only in reverse. So awkward... :rotfl2:
