There was also a minimum height to ride as a passenger. They really made my tiny kid prove it too. They had her get under the sign and push up to prove she was that tall. She was just barely tall enough. I want to say it was 38 inches but I may be wrong there. It is a 2 person raft but you can ride it alone, of course. A child needs to be 7 yo and 42 inches to ride it alone. Under those requirement, they must ride with someone 14 and older.
There’s absolutely no possibility for you to “blow off the ship” but the winds could stop you from going over the upward portion of the ride if the raft is not heavy enough. You could get stuck there, and they would have to come get you.Am I the only one who finds the high winds thing kind of disturbing? Like, is the other person in the raft with you the only thing keeping you from blowing off the ship?![]()

Must have depended on day because we had single riders on at least 2 different days on Fantasy 5-12 Feb cruiseJust off the Fantasy yesterday; all week it was two-riders only due to high winds.
We’ve noticed the 2 person rule come and go multiple times throughout the same day.Must have depended on day because we had single riders on at least 2 different days on Fantasy 5-12 Feb cruise
Goggles are a good idea. I, personally, didn't find it all that scary. Mostly like an elevated lazy river ride. There is a bit of a drop at the beginning, though. How scary is it for a person who wears contact lenses and hates water splashed in her face? Asking for a friend….
It isn't that splashy & doesn't end with a big splash in your face. You're sitting up the whole time & always in shallow water. It isn't scary, unless you're the type who finds any waterslide at all scary. I don't like scary waterslides (like the Aqua Dunk on the Magic). The Aqua Duck (Dream & Fantasy) isn't scary. It's fun. I wear contacts on it every time & would never consider not wearing them due to fear of splashing on that ride. How scary is it for a person who wears contact lenses and hates water splashed in her face? My mom is not great with the feeling of floating, doesn't swim and hates water in her face. She rode it and enjoyed it!How scary is it for a person who wears contact lenses and hates water splashed in her face? Asking for a friend….

Truer words were never spoken! The worst part for me is getting out of the raft. It is not a graceful thing to see.
