BRUNCH PEOPLE.....

if 12-14 of you (total number of people) get together you can send in a fax and request the private dining room for brunch (or dinner for that matter). One person needs to coordinate and will need the name, stateroom number and number of people in each stateroom...that all needs to be on the fax. You can specify date if you want, or just say 'any'. You will not know till about 30 days out if you get the room. Also, if anyone on your list happens to already have their own individual reservation (but would rather dine with the group), DCL is automatically cancel the individual reservation when the group reservation is approved.

They will contact the lead person and ask them to verify that all the names/cabins have not changed, so you can edit it at that point if necessary.

Now...I have to hunt around for the fax number and who to address the fax to.

I was able to book all my excursions except the Haunted Tour Only 1 Palo dinner but I am happy I got at least one dinner in Palo. Will try for brunch when we get on board.

I know there was a discussion about someone nice enough to block out rooms at the Doubletree in San Pedro for us cruisers - can someone let me know who it is. We want to stay at Doubletree the night before so we can meet you all and party. Thanks.

Whoa!! $56! Drink of the Day for everyone....well, for a few anyway!

I don't know why I am so bummed about there not being any brunches available right now. Maybe because the food was just so darn good! I won't get to the ship until possibly 2:00 which makes me think we will be on a long waitlist at that point.

The good news is that I also sail on the Wonder just 3 weeks before this cruise and I do have brunch and high tea booked for that cruise. I am tempted to ask my concierge who will hopefully be Tawanda who I had last Nov if he can help me get a brunch booking for this cruise even though I am not in concierge for this trip. That's how bad I want brunch! LOL I'll make sure to leave him a nice large tip on the MR cruise! My mouth is actually watering right now thinking about it.

You will be able to book on board. LOTS of sea days, lots of slots.

I have coordinated this before. Be aware that Palo will want you as the coordinator to contact and remind everyone, anyone who does not show up will be charged, and they get a bit cranky if at least 12 don't show up. Saying this because the first time I coordinated it everyone showed up. Second time only 10 of us showed up. There was a second day reserved for that same DIS group and not all of them showed up either. And important piece not to miss.....they will cancel any individual reservations for all in the group reservation.

Also, we had no special occasion listed on those I coordinated and they were happy to reserve it for us.

I was just able to sign up for an excursion to Aulani just added to Honolulu. It is from 7:15 to 3:15.....no price listed yet. Made me cancel a 4:30 excursion calling it a conflict. Does anyone know how far from Honolulu Aulani is??

I hope to call tomorrow and find out how there is a conflict since they are over an hour apart..also hope they post cost

Looks like that it is a holding time of 8 hours. It must still be in the planning stages. The Wonder is not scheduled to get into Honolulu until 7:30 AM. Hope they change the start time to later in the morning and the return time to after sunset.

There is a list of people interested in brunch at the beginning of this thread. Our name is on the list and would love to be a part of the group. We will be celebrating our 45 anniversary on this curise.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts. I got the results of the MRI and no brain tumor or blood clots! They did come up with a sinus infection and they say it could be causing the double vision. I di not feel like I have a sinus infection but it was there on the MRI. I am on an antibiotic and am still waiting for about 5 blood tests to come back. But I am so relieved about no tumors or blood clots. Hope it is an easy fix.

We needed a park & fly so booked separately & got a great package for about $50 more with marina view, parking, breakfast & a drink in the bar. Great hotel & the Wonder glides by at 6:30 (watch from the lobby or your room!
