How do you get involved in this? At some point do we take a poll on this board and see who wants to participate?

Can anyone point me to a thread that explains how it all works? Sounds fun, but also sounds like something we need to plan well in advance.

We are 100% on for this cruise since it's all paid for. Thinking positive thoughts that all on this board will be there!

Sorry I have been away from the thread for so long..... Life has been crazy - and not in a good way.

Well seems we need a new picture to ease our fear and anxiety:

Oh, and I just made my ADR for Chef Mickey's on Thursday night - the 16th!

I will not be delaying this cruise for a 2010 cruise on DCL! I make a decent living.....for now, but I can not afford those prices!

As for this cruise, we actually are at about 90% a go for the cruise right now. Down from a 100% rating as we need to see what happens to the economy through December and January prior to final payment date.

I have Fish Extenders! So we would be in, and in a true testament to ridiculous overplanning, I ordered some stuff for an exhcange already - I had an order coming in from Oriental Trading and I added it to the order because some things were on sale that would be good and I was getting free shipping. That being said, we also don't have to do one. Its a lot of work for people. I ordered things that could be used for a Birthday party or FE exchange to hedge all bets.

I totally can't believe that we are beyond 180 days!!!!! Only 90 more until we can make reservations!!!!!!!

"life" hasn't been all that great here either - terrible Q3 #'s, pending layoffs, etc..etc...

BUT we used DVC points for this cruise so Wes and I are TOTALLY in! I'm up for a FE exchange is others are also. Is someone going to arrange a cruise meet also?

I wrote this HUGE post yesterday and then I couldn't post it by the time I finished because I was logged out - I HATE THAT!!!!!! I forgot to copy the post prior to hitting "post" darnit! This happens to me all the time!

I was writting about how, with this few people, Fish Extenders should be easy and organizing a meet will be easy too.

I like doing wrist bands too because it helps to see people if they can't come to the meet.

I think a lot of this will require a separate Yahoo or MSN group page. What do you guys use, MSN or Yahoo? I have an msn account so msn groups is easy for me to set up, but I also have a Yahoo account so I could do that too.

I do a separate page so we can share real names and photos of each other - I then make a one pager of everyone's pics, names, and screen names for everyone to have so you can recognize each other around the ship.

I am going to go the first page and update it with epcotrulz's info and also put in BOLD who is currently participating in the thread.

If you want to be included in that list and have not posted in the last month, please post here now!!!!!

For everyone else - let's see how many people we have and whether the Fish Extenders are a good idea. I have mine and I have some stuff to share so I would be in. Plus we can also use FEs for simply sharing notes about what people are doing certain days if people want to get together for mini meets throughout the week. Say like, "meet us in Diversions at 10pm." etc.

Hi Everyone, just wanted to let you know we will not be sailing with you on the 18th. We bought property on Martha's Vineyard and we anticipate to be doing the final touches during April vacation so that we can be in for the summer. Hope you guys have a great time. We are just going to reschedule, so that we don't loose the 10% discount we received since we booked while still on our last cruise.

All of the Top 20 finalists in Disney’s Dream Chief Magic Official (CMO) contest have been revealed in advance of online voting set to begin this weekend.
The 20 Dream CMO finalists will be further winnowed to the Top 10 before the three-week voting window opens Sunday, March 2.
The Top 3 vote-getters travel to a Disney theme park in mid-April for a head-to-head competition that will be videotaped and voted on again by the online public. The winner serves as a goodwill ambassador at Disney parks around the world for about a year.
