Applying discounts later, FD question

We are planning a 2010 F&W trip. Ideally it is in that last week of FD, assuming they offer it, that spills into F&W.

We are thinking of making the room ressies when we get to that 500 day mark to make sure what we want is at least held as we really want BCV and in the past have been unable to get it for the dates we've wanted. If that really all plays out and FD is offered, will we have problems applying the code when it is released? We do have the Disney Visa.

I didn't have issues changing ressies this year to apply promotions (had booked a package and just kept changing the package) but am not sure how it would work on FD/Disney Visa.

DVC's arent released at the 500 day mark, usually its like 7 months prior after DVC members get there chance at them. And remember even if you have the room reserved doesnt mean it will be there with FD, you still need to call early and try to have it switched over
