APH Rates Out for June

Where can you find the APH rates? On one thread it said APH @ RPH in June- standard room was $124. I cannot find that price anywhere except on these boards. I looked at the website and typed in APH for the dates I wanted and the rates for standard were at $215. My AAA was better than that, but not better than $124. That is a REALLY good price.

Thanks,.

Upcoming, I checked RPR too and APH rate was 215. I'm not sure why HRH was so much cheaper than that. When it pulled up the rates (after the screen where you type in APH) it had one section that said Annual Pass rates and those per nite rates were high. Then scrolled down and there was a second section listing "Annual Pass Rates" and it was there I found the $144.

If you're set on Royal Pacific, you'd want to keep checking but Hard Rock is great for that price

If the dates your checking include a weekend night the rats are higher then. For instance the first night we stay its a Sunday and it shows the rate at $159--still a great rate :thumbsup2 and it has a red astrik beside it so then click on details and it shows $159 my first night and then Monday night is $124.

I am still only seeing rates at $215/night. My current AAA is $191.20/night. Would consider puchasing the APH for a much lower price. Thanks for everyones help. Can't wait until our trip!

What are your dates? I will see if I can come up with the APH rate.

I had posted this information earlier. I had to call and ask for the rate. I never could get it to come up online. I already had my reservations and they modified using the new rate without a problem. And, like someone else posted, I have $159 for Saturday night but $124 for Sunday - Wednesday.

I also had this happen last year with no problems either. Good luck!

I would like to check online to see if APH rates are available. I read you put APH in the promo box at loews hotels, but I don't see promo code box, any help? TIA

If your on the lowes site when you pick the location then a grey drop down box appears for you to choose yours dates. I do that then when the page pops up with the rates at the bottom it says search again. If you click search again your dates entered will stay there and there is a box at the bottom for you to enter your rate code.

Thanks for the link. I called and I got a quote of 25 less a night with APH rate at HRH than PBH with AAA rate. Now I don't have either AAA or APH right now so the 25 less a night is in comparsion to buying AAA,$85 dollar ticket and paying for parking as compared to by APH with 20 discount coupon and not having to pay for parking. Anybody offer any advice as I have never stayed on Universal property. FYI we will not be returning to Universal before the APH is up as DH is getting a free vacaction through work next year.

Did APH rates just jump? I looked yesterday with link above and got May 26th HRH 179 but now APH rate is 242. I thought they would either have them or not but not change so dramatically in a day.

APH rooms might be all sold out (at that price, don't blame people for getting them!) They only have "x" amount of rooms offered at APH rate....for instance, we booked RPR in Sept. for this coming June...at AAA rate. By the time APH rates came out, there weren't any "standard" rooms available at APH rate...only suites and such. They only allow so many rooms at that rate (and, fwiw, the lady at RPR told me that they are about totally booked for June!)

Yeah, I get selling out of APH rate, its the change in APH rate that surprises me. Both today and yesterday, garden views with APH attached at HRH were available, 179 yesterday, 242 today. (Standard GV rate listed today is 269 so APH rate is 10% off.) Maybe the entire pricing went up but I think someone realized it was a holiday weekend so the 179 rate should not be available for APH. I actually called last night to switch from AAA RPR 191 to APH HRH 179. Since none of those rates are available now I'm a little parinoid the paperwork will show up with $242 APH at HRH since I didn't print out any of the prices I saw online before I called.

They've changed the rates for when I have my APH booked. I booked for 179 for April 25-29 and today the APH rates are up to 301.

Jezz, guess timing is everything! I feel very lucky to have gotten the 179 rate last night but I'm parinoid I can't print it out. When I try to retrieve reseravation it says "non retrivable reservation". I've read those horror stories about getting there and getting a different rate so would feel better with a printout. We'll see, probably all is fine.

Give them a call with the conf# and they can confirm you go the APH. That might give you some peace of mind.

I went in and checked the dates that we have and they are all still the same APH rate for May 27-29 and June 4-5. The only one I couldnt get to come up was that Sat, May 26.

Don't factor the parking into your AP value calculations. If you stay onsite you won't be driving to the parks anyway and even w/ APs you still have to pay to park at the hotels.
Here is a clip from UO website in section that describes free parking benefits of Pref.AP:

‡Subject to availability. Valid at Universal Orlando Parking garages only. Not valid for parking (including valet) at any Universal Onsite Hotel.
