AP rates are out for May! - wait no they're not

Just booked my birthday getaway in late April at the BCV online with the AP rate. Never stayed in the villas section there before but always wanted to. Either they weren't available or way over budget. It's been a long time since we've stayed at the BC at all. Hope the pool is done by then.

The weekend rate was too good to turn down but the weekday rate was a bit higher than I hoped. Still contemplating on staying at SSR for the weekdays and the splitting the stay but booked BCV for the whole time for now cause I know it won't last at that rate!

SO STRANGE though...during the past the DVC resorts' rates were higher on the weekends...now they're lower on the weekends and higher during the week?? Don't get that one...

looks like i'm paying rack rate for AKL concierge. i've been waiting too for the AP rate to come out with hopes but no go. no room available my week. i was also lucky enough to get a PIN finally but my dates are not included.

I wasn't able to get an AP rate on the weekend for the FW cabins but I did get the discount for 4 nights plus my 4/7 deal for my first 7 nights and I saved 100.00 not including my dining and shopping discounts.

Has anyone been about to get an AP rate for the weekend of April 24-25? I called and the guy said there were no AP rates anywhere for that weekend, but he didn't seem very helpful! Just wondering if anyone has had any luck that weekend.

Another question, does anyone know how to get access to the AP website if all you have is Will Call certificate! Thanks!

I'm so glad I called back! The first person I spoke to said there were no AP rates for my weekend anywhere. I called back and got SSR studio for the same price I was paying for POR with a AAA rate! It works out perfectly, as we were checking into a 1 BR at SSR on Sunday anyway; now we only have to change rooms and not resorts!

That is great news! Getting an AP rate is easy when you're flexible. Can you believe how low the DVC resorts are for the weekend! Glad it worked out.

I just saw a studio at BCV for 209 the weekend before Memorial Day! WOW! SSR is even cheaper along with OKW!
Hoping some folks can utilize these great rates and enjoy some new resorts!!
AS for me....I am still torn where to book my weekend nights before checking into BCV....I currently have Poly GV....its cheaper than the BC water/pool view!
