When we were on in May, evidently there was a rare bottle of bourbon in the Cadillac Lounge: a lost prophet (I think).
When he got home he tried to find it, but the supplier says it doesn't exist. Could someone PLEASE take a pic and post of the bourbon?
TIA

Not sailing until the 19th but if your question hasn't been answered by then I will be glad to do the research for you.

I google lost prophet bourbon and found this. Is this it?

I am not sure if it is the same bourbon, but I asked Ivan, the bartender about one bottle. He said the distillery only makes a limited number of bottles each year, and you can only buy it by lottery. The bottle on the Wonder was the only one on any of the Disney ships. I should have taken a picture, but I didn't.

Yeah, DH should have taken a picture too.

Ah! PVW Bourbon is, indeed, quite nice. When we can get it, we buy it. Usually this one particular local proprietor carries it.

About spirits on board... There are times you will see/try things that you cannot get a hold of in your local distribution market or, in some case, in the entire US. I encountered this after my last sailing on the Fantasy: Attended a mixology class where we made a drink with Illy Illyquore (a coffee liqueur similar to Kahlua - but better IMHO). Came home and proceeded to drive myself and everyone else I knew in the adult beverage business crazy trying to find it. Turns out, it's very easy to find practically everywhere but the US. Why? Who knows, but I have found that there are quite a few spirits that just aren't imported in the US. Anyway, I managed to get a hold of it when friend of mine sailed a few months later and graciously agreed to bring me back a few bottles when she found it in a foreign port.

Lesson learned: take a pic of it when on board and if it can't be sourced in the US, add it to the list of spirits to snap up the next time traveling abroad and budget in the appropriate duty into the equation.
