Anyone know about viewing the new World of Color show from Ariel's Grotto?

We are going to Disneyland in early August. We always eat lunch at Ariel's Grotto everytime we go. I think they are starting the World of Color show right on the water right by there so I'm wondering if you would be able to see the show from the outdoor patio at Ariel's Grotto if you are eating dinner there at the right time. Does anyone know the times they will be having the show? Will it be something they'll be showing often during the night or will it only be showing once or twice a night like Fantasmic?

Or should I just forget about watching the show from there and just let my girls focus on visiting with the princesses since that's the reason we eat there?

As of now, it seems dinner at AG won't be offered as a character meal when WoC starts up. There is speculation of AG being part of some premium dining experience for WoC, as opposed to a character meal. However, it seems AG will still do breakfast and lunch with the princesses.

I don't think AG will be open during WoC period. Many guests have reported that reservations they had in march for the evening have been changed by disney to late afternoon.

Two other reasons I have is that the view of the show from AG will be rather worthless because of the shows design. Second light from attractions around paradise bay interferes with the show so all of the peir will probably be darkened.

Also you might take a look at this thread which dicusses the WoC in general.

My dinner reservation got bumped back to 3:30 PM and I've heard the latest seating with princesses will be at 3:40 PM.

As I understand there are rumors of some sort of Ariel's Grotto dinner package including viewing for World of Color, but minus princesses (who we've been told are in the show, though I'm not sure if "in" just means "film" footage or not).

It is not clear IF this will even occur, and if it does, it is not clear if viewing will be from Ariel's Grotto or if they'll walk people over to another seating area.

But anyway, if you wanted to see the princesses I would stick with lunch. :)

Have a great trip!
