Anyone called for summer ressies lately?

We are going to have to change around our trip a little bit. Dh has to go to NY for work during what was to be the end of our scheduled trip. So we are trying to leave a little earlier and come back a little earlier. Has anyone had luck getting summer ressies lately?We would not have to reschedule our 5 BCV days ( I know that would be impossible), I was already able to get the entertainment rate for the new dates at PBH, now all I need is two nights at OKW July 23 and 24 preferably in a 2 bedroom (or we would take anywhere available). I have 30 points that need to be used. What do you think my chances are? I just wish MS was open now.

Call first thing on Monday, if you don't get exactly what you want, book something that will do and waitlist for what you want. Call back every day or so and check on the waitlist. We called last week for July 4th weekend, we had to book our 6 day trip in 3 segments, different room sizes, we waitlisted for a 1 br at OKW for the entire stay, called back the next day and we got the first 5 days of what we wanted, now we're just keeping our fingers crossed for the last day. We are only 2 weeks out on a holiday weekend, so anything is possible!

I had a 1BR for October and changed it 2 weeks ago to a studio to free up some points so I booked a studio at OKW for Aug 22 weekend with what I saved.

I just booked a surprise family trip for August 28-Sept 1. I callled last week and they had a studio at BCV for every day except the 29th. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and went to move around some inventory. She came back and said it was all approved and we were booked. I am so excited. This is my DD 9th B-day and My & DH 12th Anniversary. I have to keep this secret until then. Oh the torture. This is our first trip home.
