From what I understand, they have it on the buffet at the Trails End in Fort Wilderness for lunch and dinner.

We've only done the Trails End for breakfast, but I think I've read about the chicken there on these boards.

Yep, Trail's End serves the same chicken. It's connected to HDDR in the same building.

There are always a lot of raves on this board for the fried chicken at 50's PTC, as well.

The fried chicken at the 50's primetime is the "best". I get it everytime we go there. Sometimes twice. You would not be dissapointed.

I also have to put in my two cents about the Fried Chicken at Prime Time Cafe. It was fabulous. PTC is supposed to be like eating at home with Mom's cooking, but let me tell you, my mom never made chicken that darn good!!

The chicken at 50's Prime Time is also a huge portion - plenty to share between 2, unless you're really big eaters.

I think it was 3- a breast, drumstick, and a thigh (I don't think there was a wing).

I agree about the chicken at Prime Time, it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good, very juicy and tender. I'm going back to the World in 3 years for my 40th with a bunch of friends, and HAVE to go back to PTC!

I am a southern girl who learned at her Mom's side how to cook fried chicken. And now after 30 years of cooking fried chicken, I agree that the 50's Prime time has the best fried chicken in all of WDW.

Fried chicken at Trail's End is really good and about 1/3 price of Hoop Dee Doo. We will be there next month. Trail's End also now takes ADRs.
Lorelai, you can request specic pieces. We usually get 2 breasts instead of the 3 pieces because we only eat white meat and it is enough for 2 adults.
