Any merit to doing HS earlier in week?

We, like I assume most families probably do, tend to make Magic Kingdom our first park of the week. We typically do two days in a row on Monday and Tuesday. Then we’ll do Epcot, HS, and AK later in the week. Since I want to make sure we definitely get on the new Star Wars rides, is there any merit to say making your HS day earlier in the week? Is there a better chance for getting on ROR on a Monday or Tuesday compared to waiting until later on the week? Thanks.

Seems wait times are not that bad although many, like you, start at MK on Monday so we avoid MK on that day, maybe start at DHS. Many recent videos suggest to not rope drop unless you can get there very early (we will walk from Swan/Dolphin after Ubering there). Seems like, after the rope droppers ride, the line will get shorter throughout the day. Currently 80 minutes after a quick check (too long for me, missing fastpasses).

I think it's one of those YMMV things. I imagine crowds this week will slowly build as it's a 3 day weekend in some places this coming weekend.

I'm also an oddball in that my first day is never a monday 🤷‍♀️

We almost always do the opposite and save MK for last, which is what we are doing this weekend.
We do the opposite, too. Love MK and save the best for last!
I also think that's the best way when you're traveling with kids who are visiting for the first time. Once they've seen Magic Kingdom, they might have a hard time getting into the other parks.

I'm certainly an oddball as well. With Mondays being one of my days off at work we usually arrive on a Sunday so this way I don't start using vacation days until Tuesday. With that, we arrive early on Sunday and we use that day to casually get our MK fix for a few hours to take it all in. We then usually relax at the resort, grab dinner in Disney Springs, and then on Monday go to one of the other Parks. MK is never one that we do on a Monday.
