Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

At one point I had seen the option for the online check-in on My Disney Experience. Now I can't find it anywhere, and I'm just at 60 days out! Hoping to do this so I can get access to FPP-any tips?

I am 58 days out and was able to make FP+ today! but still can't customize magic bands. I have not done online check-in, but I see others on here who have not either, and have made bands - seems to be no rhyme or reason. Maybe which resort you're staying at makes a difference? Also, I saw many people mention getting a bonus FP+ at MK for a total of 4, but it did not come up as an option for me, just the usual "pick 3". Anyone else who's getting there's done for Thanksgiving week have 4 come up?

Just checked again after midnt.(57 days) and it switched to personalize! Also found out today that we got a DVC studio at AKL (were wait listed - buying pts. from a friend) for our last 3 days - hoping savannah view becomes available, but can't wait to surprise DD either way! I will have to link that reservation now, so maybe I should wait to personalize? May need 2 sets now with split stay?

My fam is going on oct 21 and we are staying at WL. And I'm happy to share that we got and email and an invite in the mail to try out the new fastpass plus bands. I would have thought they would notify sooner but we just got them with plenty of time to schedule. Although did have to change dinner res because we able to schedule fantastic with fastpass plus and that changed my whole choice for dinner. good luck to ya.

Our trip starts 11/11. After 2 weeks, they finally got our premiere passes to link. Was able to book fast pass plus, but magic band option is still not customizable. Staying at okw using DVD rental. Ressie linked in just fine. Any advice to get the bands?

64 days out here (checking in 11/30 at the Wilderness Lodge). Clicked on "Personalize Magic Bands" this morning and they are available to customize up until 10/31!

I'm not eligible to check in online (4 more days) and I can't make any FastPass+ selections yet.

Last night I ordered our park tickets online (on the MDE site) and for delivery option, I chose standard mail. Now I can't link the tickets on MDE.

Just spoke to someone in tech support. If I had chosen the "will call" option for my tickets, I would have been able to link the tickets using the will call confirmation number. As it stands now, I have to wait until I receive my tickets (about fourteen days from now) then go to MDE and enter the number on the back of the actual tickets to link them on MDE. Only then will I be able to do FP+.

So, long story short, from what I can understand, if you plan on purchasing park tickets via MDE, choose the will call option and then you will be able to link your tickets and get FP without having to wait for the actual tickets in the mail. Hope that makes sense!

This has been posted previously it is unfortunate you had not seen this before you ordered.

I ordered tix from UT and had I seen the posts about the issues would have not ordered the RFID ones.

Fortunately, I had seen someone's advice to call Disney directly to buy tickets. I did that yesterday and they were linked to my MDE account before I even got off the phone.

We have 4 sets of reservation #s for 2 groups (back to back stays to take advantage of free dining), all linked on my MDE. However, I was only able to check in for 2 of them. I tried the mydisneyreservation.com site too, but it wouldn't work either. I called IT and they said online check-in did not work well for 2 reservations that are linked (which was one of the sets was linked and the other was not!) So now I have some of us checked in and the others not and there is nothing I can do about it! Hopefully, we won't be on opposite sides of the resort. Grandparents will not be happy if we are!

Oh I will not be happy about that. My DS and DGS are in the other room and they really need to be close to our room so I can help them out. Is there a way to cancel the already completed online check in? I'd rather not have it at all than be on opposite sides of the resort. Thanks for posting this.

The option to personalize MagicBands appeared in our MDE account tonight. We are 65 days out, checking into the WL on Nov 30th. I'm really glad that it just appeared like that. I didn't have to do anything.

So now I just have to wait another five days until I can start getting the FP+. Does anyone know if there are fp+'s available for the reserved viewing area for Wishes? It is one of the only fp+'s that I really want. Oh, and maybe the parade, too.

Wishes and MSEP have not come up for me yet. I have had other people tell me they may not show up until it is closer to your actual trip.

For those of you how are waiting for tickets to arrive: I purchased our tickets thought RunDisney and they arrived yesterday. I had previously customized Magic Bands and booked my BOG FP. After linking the tickets in MDX, I was immediately able to book FP+ options. Now we wait for 11/6...

If you are not within the 60 day window or do not have tickets linked to each person (or both), you will not be able to do FP+ selections.

You don't have to do online check in. You can wait until you get to the resort. That is what we did last February when we were traveling with another family and we wanted to make sure that our rooms were close together. Our daughter and her family checked into their rooms first. Then they sent us the room number. When we checked in we asked to be close to them. It all worked fine.

Yes, it is normal to be able to customize MagicBands before you can do fp+. Actually, they are two completely different things. Resort guests can schedule their fp+ at their 60 day make whether or not they get MagicBands. Resort guests can get MagicBands even if they don't want to participate in the fp+ program.
