Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

WHAT?!?!?!?!? This CM has no idea what he is talking about..
The bands are sent out at the 31-30 day mark..
On mine there is a note that says " can make changes until * ship date*"<<<<<<< 30 days prior to my trip.
If you wait you may not be able to customize at ALL!
I'd call back and try to get someone different.. DON'T WAIT!

DH is calling again first thing in the morning. I have been way too stressed to deal with them again. We've had mega problems since we first signed on to MDE. I've called at least six different times for assorted issues. Now this? What really irks me is my original problem was not all of our reservations showing up at online check in. We are 38 days out so I know I was allowed to do that. Normally I wouldn't do the online check in as we prefer the old way but I read here that the link to order the MBs would show if I did. Which it did but only for the rooms that I had done online check in for. When I mentioned that the tech guy got irritated with me and started saying how everyone gets an invitation at 28 days out and no one is suppose to be making FP selections or customizing bands until they get one which I know is not true. I hope DH gets to talk to someone that actually understands the program. Thanks everyone for your input. Makes me feel alot better.

Thats the week Im there and I cant get a FP+ reservation for BOG any time that week. Everyday I click on it tells me no fastpasses are available.

I'm trying for 28th Nov to 5th Dec and having the same thing come up saying no fastpasses are available. Will just keep checking and hope this will change.

The BOG FP was supposed to really be invitation only, so I don't know if that will open up. I hope it would open up at the 60 day mark like FP+.

I just called IT and they got a bit upset with me. They stated that people are suppose to wait until they are 28 days out and receive an invitation before doing anything. He said I should not have made any FP selections until we get the bands. And not to customize them unless we have an invitation. I don't get this at all. I tried explaining my original problem with the online checking and our rooms not all being there and he said I'm looking in the wrong place. What?? I'm not so stupid that I can't read. I have no idea what to do now. Wait the 10 days or call and hopefully talk to someone else?

Magic bands and Fastpass+ popped up for me today Arriving 20 November at Saratoga Springs. Seems a bit strange booking rides so far in advance, but the new technology looks really cool. I'm so excited....can't wait to try it all out.

It looks like I can't use Fastpass + for those days that I am not staying on Disney property (split stay), even though I have park tickets for days in excess of my actual stay. Does that seem right?

The option to personalize MagicBands appeared in our MDE account tonight. We are 65 days out, checking into the WL on Nov 30th. I'm really glad that it just appeared like that. I didn't have to do anything.

So now I just have to wait another five days until I can start getting the FP+. Does anyone know if there are fp+'s available for the reserved viewing area for Wishes? It is one of the only fp+'s that I really want. Oh, and maybe the parade, too.

This doesn't make sense at all. The cut off date to customize the bands is 30 days out. My last day was today, and they actually cut my ability off early this morning. I noticed around 10:00 it said "Your MBs are being customized and will ship soon".

Wait for an invitation!! LOL No one is getting those in time.

We arrive for 1 night at SSR checking in on the 29th. Then we move to BWV for the next 4 days checking in on the 30th. It had me customize 2 sets of bands. I thought everything would be on one band. ??? Is this right or should I call IT ??? Thank you!

When I go into MDE it says the tickets are activated, there is an option to deactivate.

Has anyone tried deactivating their tickets and then re-activating them and have them show up under reservations?

This not being linked when they are linked half way as it seems and not being able to access FP+ or FP for BOG is so frustrateing

This is exactly what I was wondering, since our tickets show up in the MB section what would happen if I deactivate the tickets there then try linking them then re-activate them in MB.
Did you try that and if so did it help?

Lots of folks with split stays have been getting 2 (or more) sets of Magic Bands.

If it were me, I wouldn't call IT about it.

Was finally able to personalize bands tonight at 61 days out! Hopefully once I check-in online at midnight the "I'm sorry" messages will be replaced by FPP options!

We have 4 sets of reservation #s for 2 groups (back to back stays to take advantage of free dining), all linked on my MDE. However, I was only able to check in for 2 of them. I tried the mydisneyreservation.com site too, but it wouldn't work either. I called IT and they said online check-in did not work well for 2 reservations that are linked (which was one of the sets was linked and the other was not!) So now I have some of us checked in and the others not and there is nothing I can do about it! Hopefully, we won't be on opposite sides of the resort. Grandparents will not be happy if we are!

I have now spent two days on the phone with the tech people. Our reservations are still not right. People come and go, imaginary people appear on our friends and family list, dining reservations disappear, tickets will not link, and so it goes.

As of tonight I am still missing four people on our DVC reservation at OKW. I think our AKL reservation is finally correct.

Because we have a split stay I also asked why we are getting two sets of bands and they told me well you are actually getting three mailings of them because some of our group is staying at POP.

This has not been fun. My ear is literally sore from holding the phone up to it for so long. I really hope that we can finally get this resolved tomorrow. I am growing weary and impatient!

Fyi: I was told I was getting an invite, yet never received it..
CM told me to go right on ahead and make changes and FP choices.. CM - " the invite does not matter. It's just away to let people know their magic bands are available"

i did not get an invite but once i did the online check in it all worked for me!

Anyone else having problems with November 13? For some reason I cannot change the experience or times because it says there's no other experiences / times available. This is the only day that is giving me problems.

For those who have had a single day blocked out and unable to select for FP (for us Wed 11/13), try the mobile app, it should still work.

Anyone in Nov get bonus MK FP? Old rumor said have to pick 2 options that don't offer paper FP (ie wishes and MSEP)

This worked for me too. For some reason I could do every day from Nov 7-13, except for the 12th, on the computer site. But I could make selections on my iphone app.
