Yeesh.... I HAVE to go grocery shopping this week. THAT should be fun. I am out of almost everything..

so did i tell you i make this photo calendar every year? well this year i was trying to decide whether to do it through kits (my usual) or costco? costco was much cheaper; so i stayed up way late a couple nights ago and created a calendar online. but i had trouble fitting the photos in place, because sometimes it would pop the photo in zoomed in, but i had no way to zoom out to show more of the photo, it was weird!

i told dh, and he said, "Fine, just do it through kits then. so what if it will cost twice as much, you're going to be much happier with the finished result." dang, he's smart! :lmao:

Oooohhh.. The new season of big Love starts soon!!:cool1: I cant WAIT.

:thumbsup2 I was looking at that, and trying to figure out how to do it. I spent about three seconds on the page and left. I dont have the patience for it right now!:lmao: I have been looking for a place where I can do birth announcements for the twins when they come though..

Mmmmmhhhhhmmmm... You know what they say. Memory is the first thing that goes. :rotfl2:
seriously! we've been joking about my memory, and lots of people i know have this computer game called brain age; it exercises the brain and helps keep you mentally sharp.

dh has a ds version, but i don't typically play the ds, so he was going to get me a pc version to install on this laptop. fortunately he installed a trial version, because i didn't really like it! the problems it had me working on were so simple, but sometimes it would say i'd chosen another (wrong) option and ding me for it, or sometimes it would choose an option when i hadn't clicked on anything!

omg, you watch that???

i rented the first season from blockbuster, and was hooked!
they rent the dvds separately, so it wound up being kinda pricey though. i am also interested in true blood and the tudors. (we don't get cable, aren't those all cable shows?)

Sheesh. I dont know about you, but I dont need some stupid games help feeling stupider then I already do. I have NEVER had a good memory. My husband can remember things from his childhood.. In detail. I barely even remember that I HAD a childhood!:rotfl2:

I LOVE IT!! You should look into Netflix. I think we only pay $18. a month, and we can rent three movies at a time... and get as many in a month as we want. IM SURE they have Big Love there.. You can even hook it up through the XBOX and stream the instant watch stuff there. It makes the kids cheesy shows really cheap.

I watched both seasons of Big Love a few weeks ago. They had it On Demand.. True Blood is really good to!

Hello Hyenas,

I hope you all had a good weekend. My bf and I went to the mall this afternoon. I bought stuff from Sanrio and the first 007 movie (Casino Royale) from Target. It was on sale for $10. A lot of their DVD's are on sale and some are even as low as $5.50/EA which is cool. :thumbsup2 We went to Fry's and looked around. We didn't buy anything because their checkout line was insanely long and we were in no mood to wait in that line. :sad2: On the way home we grabbed a late lunch at a local sushi place. We both ordered the salmon teriyaki. :thumbsup2 Yumm! Then we stopped at Rite Aide and then Albertson's. We rented 3 movies: The Women, Wanted and Tropic Thunder. The Women is actually a very good movie and I enjoyed it. It had a lot of celebs:

It also had Bette Midler and Candice Bergen. You guys should rent it if you haven't yet seen it. :) It's a good movie to watch with your teen DD's. :thumbsup2

Our dryer is currently broken (the drum won't spin). Luckily we have home warranty coverage and I scheduled a repair online. I hope it gets fixed soon because I always do at least 2 loads of laundry per week and I'm running out of socks! :rotfl:

I can't believe my long vacation has come to an end :( It was nice being able to sleep in and just do whatever each day and hang out with siblings and family. Still, at times it was a bit boring and I can't picture myself staying at home all the time. At least with work it gives me something to do and keeps me busy. I'm just afraid of all the e-mails I will see tomorrow morning. I know that 2 of my customers have contacted our overseas office while I've been away (which they are not supposed to do). :sad2:

I think one of my babies is trying to bust out. Whichever one this is, is going to be my problem child. Always up in my ribs... :sad2: Total brat. :rotfl2:

i actually wanted something to exercise my brain. i felt like i was losing not only memory but math skills and so forth. but i think the version he got online is a knock-off, and maybe not a very good one. bummer! :confused3

oy! ds8 constantly had a foot up in my ribs, that hurts! ds4 didn't do that, but he used to do the "Alien"-like pushing outward, which is kinda freaky! :lmao:

I am tall enough that I have NEVER had a baby in my ribs. Now... I wake up feeling I broke a rib while I was sleeping. I tell ya.. I wouldnt wish one of these multiple pregnancies on ANYONE.

*Note: I mean no offense to anyone who stays at home. I always wondered what it would be like to not have to work and during my 10 day break, I got to experience it. I was bored at times and I don't think I could handle it if that were permanent. I learned that I need to work or else I would go nuts! I hope my comment wasn't taken in the wrong context. :flower3:

Dont worry Pix.. Its a lot different staying home when you have beasties to chase with a yard stick all day. ;) :lmao: Besides... a LOT of people arent cut out to stay home.

*Note: Not for nothing...but anyone who starts a statement with " no offense" knows full well the words that follow are without a doubt going to offend.

That being said...I'll go on record saying that "stay at home" moms have the hardest job on the planet! I know as far as my wife goes she never gets to "punch out" if you know what I mean. As a stay at home mom she is always on duty!

amen!

i never thought i was cut out to stay home either. so imagine my shock and surprise when i wanted to! :lmao:

some days are harder than others. some days are fantastic! most days, even the bad ones, are still better than being where i was in my job. ;)

The reason I said "No offense" was because I wasn't talking about others and I didn't want anyone to think I was and take it the wrong way. I was just stating a fact I learned about MYSELF and my comment was not directed towards anyone else.
