Good! I know you were feeling anxious about it earlier. Sound like family is pitching in and things are going along just as it should

I suppose it's too early, but did you get a weight estimate on the lil ones?

Anxious doesnt BEGIN to describe it! I was in a full on panic. My mom is in the middle of buying a house, so I had figured we were pretty much on the back burner... Which is why I was so shocked at the whole thing!

My OB is going to do a weight check at our next appointment. I cant wait to see how big the little beasties are getting!

Indeed! I have felt remarkably calm today. Like NOW they can come. Well.. Not NOW! Its to early. But they can come on time... and it wont be so much stress trying to get everything ready in the last few weeks. Damn doctor never should have said we only have 9 more weeks.

It might be hard to adjust to eating "non pregnant" afterwards.. but at least with nursing you can have an extra 500 calories

I fear that! I gained so much weight after I had Alex.. Just eating, and eating! My husband did admit to me that my very SUDDEN growth in appetite is freaking him out a little. I was hungry a lot before... But it was more snacky. NOW??Dont let any of your digits get to close to my pie hole!

My procastinator son is trying to finish a paper, on a book that he has only read half of the pages.

For once N finished his a day early, J was going to turn it in late. Told him nope and get to work now. I need him to do well in order to get good grades... and schlorship money for college.

Told him, you do realize that we can't pay for college right? Your current job is to do well in school, don't do well and you don't get to apply for a job to earn money.


He quickly attacked his paper and did some research to find the answers he needed. (Cliff notes online saving his butt.)

I eat more in the winter. Boredom, cold, stuck inside, too many treats available during the holidays.

Spring rolls around, so do I, roll that is. Appetite lessens as it gets warmer. I think of it as an ancient self preservation trait, just need to beat it down to modern levels.

Me too!! I cant WAIT to get back on my exercise and diet program. I was doing well... for the few weeks I could do it. I think if I could at least get my fat butt of the sofa for a few minutes at a time I wouldnt be packing on the poundage right now. I sit... I eat... I lay down...

sorry, off reading to see how I'm going to put deals together. I should do one round for my sis on the diaper deals. And I have tons of coupons to amtch up for the other deals, I can have hubby bring it out to car and do another round.. harder to convince him to shop more than once a week.

Hi,

Just got back from our long weekend. My stepdad's funeral was on Saturday in So Cal. My Mom is doing pretty well. Now my other Sister is staying with her. Maybe a week or two depending on how well my Mom is doing.

My house is a mess. I still have all my lights, and decorations up. Have had no time to get it all away. Hopefully tomorrow I will get to start on it.

Hubby just left for work. I had him for two whole weeks. It was way better then I was expecting. Just went by to quickly.

it did go by fast, didn't it?

dh was home a lot more than i expected with the snow. it was good for his knee recovery and just nice to have him around. he said something the other day about me probably being glad everyone was going back to school and work tomorrow. i have to admit i'm going to enjoy having some peace and quiet without the kids constantly underfoot, but it might be a little TOO quiet...

I know.. I was really looking forward to not having to worry about bouncing him out of the bed....But now Im kinda sad about going to bed alone. Ill probably get over it when I get to lay in the middle of the bed. I AM looking forward to a little less rowdiness during the day. But it really wasnt that bad!

ds8 was super excited to see all the snow, and asking dh if it was going to be another snow day tomorrow. i checked weather.com and found it's supposed to warm up to 40 tonight and all the snow will melt. poor little guy, i crushed his heart i think.
