But the problem is our snow has an extremely high moisture content. It comes in off the Pacific Ocean, is normally remnants of some tropical storm from Hawaii or SE Asia and then cruises on over the ocean, picks up more moisture and dumps down on us. Not normally a problem because we don't often get the cold air. You might as well call our snow, frozen ice water, because that's what it really is. Snow plows can scoop it off the road, but it does nothing for the 2 inches of solid ice underneath.
We had a light freezing rain yesterday, turned to snow as the evening went on. Slippery and crunchy today, oh the joys of winter.

Keep rolling the "cat" into another set of 3 pkgs , rinse and repeat - stock up time
