Anna and Elsa five hour wait!

I waited a hour for them in November. They had closed the line for the characters to have a break. So I got in line anyway.... and we were first in line too!

I met them on Friday Dec. 13 and was scheduled for a 2 hour wait but ended up waiting and hour and a half. I got in line around 12pm after exiting breakfast at Arkeshus and was scheduled to meet them at 2pm. Time flew by, I just talked to other parents and kids in line. Mostly the line consisted of Dads as the mom's took the kids to other rides or to eat while they waited, no one complained about the rest of the family joining at the end. I don't see why this is an issue to anyone, if the CM tells you are meeting them at the 2pm cycle, for example, YOU WILL GET IN. Your wait time will not be more than scheduled. In fact, the family in front of me and myself got in at the 1pm cycle. It was almost 1:30pm and the girls were supposed to leave for a break, but they squeezed us in. I was alone, since my mom went to sit down while I waited, and the last one in the cycle so I got a little extra time with them. The girls were sweet and perfect, not to mention absolutely beautiful. This was perhaps one of the most magical moments of my trip.

The Anna from Dec 13th is not the same Anna I saw on Boxing Day, you can tell by looking at the pictures there are 2 different ladies in this role, same Elsa though.

They had 1 - 2 hour waits before the movie even opened. They can only meet so many people at once. And the performers need breaks.

Not surprising that they have these kind of lines for the busiest week of the year. I think I waited that long to see King Tut at the Smithsonian a bazillion years ago. Anna and Elsa, no way.

And you can't just change a Candlelight Processional reservation on the same day, because you decided you really wanted to do something else. The cancellation deadline is 2 days prior. Changing to another day counts as a cancellation. It would have cost you $10 per person to do that.

To meet Rapunzel people were making Crystal Palace reservations, not to eat there, but in order to get into the park early to be one of the first hour of groups to meet her. Same strategy, essentially.

Doubtless one reason why you'd now be charged $10 per person if you made a CP reservation, got into the park, and went to Rapunzel's line instead.

I cannot stand in lines. I have a broken ankle that never healed correctly and I now have arthritis in it. Walking doesn't hurt nearly as bad as standing. Meet and Greets are really not my thing for that reason.

Wow, they look kinda odd and those wigs are just awful. Not at all what I expected.

I really hope we don't end up seeing that set when we're there in July.

For anyone who would be angry about us coming into the front of the line at the last minute...well, my kids were the ones meeting the princesses, not my husband and I, so if you really wanted the people who were meeting the princesses in line, you would have been MORE than welcome to wait in line with my children (and everyone else's who did the same) for 2+ hours. Then you can let me know if you still feel the same way! :rotfl:

I am picturing this in my head and it is hilarious. :lmao:

They probably have to be at Norway because so many people will automatically look for them there. Something must be worked out in the future. It also makes perfect sense that they don't want everyone in line because of the space.

Why would anyone be upset? If the kids stand in line instead of sitting elsewhere, the time would be the same only waiting in line would be more cramped and miserable for everyone.

Perception and expectation is everything, but both are under our control. You can't change the rules or other people's behavior, but you can change your expectations.
