I would LOVE to stay at the Grand Floridian someday. But, unless Britney and the KFed are there at the same time to make us look good... it ain't gonna happen. Anytime soon. Hit me baby one more time.

I believe you will enjoy your travels through WDW with the happyhaunts much better if you actually know who we are. So... I add stories and dialogue and little pieces of us... along the way... so you KNOW us. At least a little bit. It helps you see Disney the way we do. And to understand the wonderful spell it casts over five ordinary people from Canada. I want you to live it through OUR eyes: through my laughing ones, through my husband's loving ones, through Tommy's innocent ones, through Calvin's spirited ones and, also, through Beth's eyes. Ones which are old before their time. Otherwise, I figure, what's the point? Of it. After all?

Mel this is exactly why we all LOVE you. You can have us riding high one minute and then not 2 seconds later bring us back to reality and show us what's really important...spending time with our family. We are ONE big borg-ish family here and we LOVE you! Thank You for sharing your family with us. Maelstrom!

First Mel, I don't know who Kfed is. But I'm assuming that if he/she is attatched to Britany, then it must be a redneckie kind of thing!

Second - regardless of what else might get said, I appreciate getting to know your family. I agree that this kind of thing is what makes trip reports so much more rich! These are great stories - keep em comin!

And Third, by the way - we stayed at the Grand Floridian once - overnight - on one of the Whirlwind trips. (Christmas last year - I think one of us wrote a tr - I would link to it, but I don't know how.) To be quite honest - it wasn't all that! I actually liked Boardwalk better - and much to Mommypoppins chagrin - I liked the Wilderness Lodge better even. It's pretty and all, but to me not worth the extra buckos!

And Fourth - just cause there needs to be a fourth.

Hope that isn't too off topic. If it is, someone tell me and I'll remove it!

Thank you so much for letting us take a peak into your lives. Without it, this would just be another trip report. But this is NOT just a trip report. It's something more. What? I'm not sure. But it's wonderful. You are a gifted woman and funny as all heck. I love how you can show humor one minute and a softer, more human side the next. You have a wonderful family and are truely blessed. Please give Beth a hug for me (if that's alright). It breaks my heart that a child, any child, would have to see something so tragic. And give Tommy and Calvin a hug too just because they're so sweet.

Well it's a beautiful Saturday morning here in London, Ontario, Canada. Got up early so I could get some much needed housework done. Checked my email and thought I would quickly check and see what has happened on the DIS board since I checked it yesterday at work (SHHH!! don't tell the boss)
Anyhoo started reading the reports and what can I say. Spent the next three hours reading them. Oh well, the dirt isn't going anywhere.

When I found the Dis less than a year ago... I felt like I had found a community of sorts. More than just a message board. It seemed friendly, welcoming and just as odd as I. Am. In that all-about-the-MOUSE, Disfreak sorta GREAT way!!!! And I'm so glad that I was right.

I want to give the mods on this TR Board much kudos. It takes a lot of moxie to reverse a decision to lock a thread and change long-standing policies. So...
