Oh GOOD! I thought I was th only one who noticed that Adam looked like he was going to start crying during that song. It was so sweet to see how the whole Idol experience has really affected him.

That's a good point...I noticed that something about her response to Kris' performance was off. She had a real guilty look about her. It WAS almost like she told him to do something, he did it, and it was bad.

The first thing I thought when she made her comments is that it was her way of saying it stunk without really saying that
I really liked Kris' version of What's Going On, and his first song was good too, I just think Adam was better all around.

I like BOTH Kris and Adam, so I decided NOT to vote for either of them!

(acutally I stopped voting when we got to the top 4, because I could not decide who I liked the best and who deserved to stay/go)

DH thinks Adam will win, and I think Kris will win.
We never saw Kris, and the "man in the mirror" song that got him into the top 12 was...strange, but he hit the right cord with fans because he made it in to the top 12 based on the publics vote. (as did adam, but he had the advantage of being shown before and being totally awesome and unforgettable)

For the first couple of weeks we enjoyed Kris's songs, but usually forgot about him when the show was over.

No matter who wins I think it is going to be close. If we choose to believe Ryan when he said that only a million votes separated the top two, and I don't remember them saying WHO was the top vote getter, probably whoever gets the majority of Dannys fans to vote for them will win.

Tonight should be awesome!

David Cook is performing Permanent tonight.

Adam will be performing with KISS.

I can't imagine how hard it will be for him to get through that song (David that is).

Nope and if you watch when the judges are doing the comments you will notice he actually almost rolls his eyes to look away and swallows because I'm sure he didn't want to loose it last night and chance loosing votes because he was crying. A guy/guy can cry and everyone says aawwwhhh how sweet, but if a gay guy cries people do not always have the same reaction. I actually feel a little sorry for him because everyone has focused on that issue so much that it is how he is being defined and I think he is so much more than that. I just love him!

I'd actually like to see him cry! I love seeing the emotions that come out of people as a result of this show. It shows me that they are just thankful and happy. If they don't get emotional I start to wonder if they are just cocky and *know* they are supposed to be there.

Well, I haven't voted all season, but I voted like MAD for Adam last night.

Not really. With the huge push apparently going on against him I don't feel 100% confident that there won't be an upset.

Though he's the winner in most people's eyes anyway.

I can't wait for tonight's show. I think every other AI season will be boring after this year. I honestly think that if Kris wins it will be more a vote AGAINST Adam than a vote FOR Kris. There are so many Adam-haters out there, it's sad.

I don't know if that's really true. Everyone I know (I'm old and know all kinds of folks, all ages ) thinks Adam is incredibly talented, and most were torn if they voted.

The only Adam haters I've heard tell here. Honestly, I don't know anyone who does not like Adam and certainly no one who hates him. Everyone finds him remarkably talented.

I do think b/c the judges were gaga over Adam those who were on the fence likely voted for Kris - but not as a vote against Adam. Kris is just as talented as Adam, they are just very different.

My 2 cents.

I just got home from my last two finals and am as freee as a bird for the next three months I've literally been listening to Freebird for the past hour to celebrate Now it's time for some Idol! I usually watch with the fam but my parents and brother are going to buy a new car tonight from the accident, so I'll finally be able to log on and post live. Can't wait!

I believe I read somewhere that they were not allowed to play an instrument during the last song ... they had to sing it with the band only ...
