Kris should have done the Kara song sitting at the piano...with the piano being the only music.

If they were able to use instruments, I'm sure he would have done something like that. But, if he wins maybe he can do it that way.

Interesting tidbit - today have heard several people comment that they've never voted on AI, but last night voted for Kris. Most all like Adam too, but went with Kris for the final.

I know that's small potatoes in the AI voting world, but it did get me wondering if there are more first time voters who did the same thing.

I heard way more of that last year, not at all this year. Actually, I found most people to be lukewarm to the show compared to last year, not as much excitement.

Well, goes to show we can have a very different experience.

This year's show was boring to me, while last year was my favorite season of all. Still watched this yr, but mostly in hopes it would improve. All the hype about this yr's finale being the "most exciting in Idol history" sure seems to show the prodcers are pushing the hype.

This is true for me. I miss seeing DC every week. I was just so excited about David Cook last year (and MJ!) that this year can't match up. Last year was my favorite hands down.

Last season was the best as a whole, without a doubt. I think they had the most talent and it was the most diverse group. I loved Kelly season 1, Clay season 2, hated season 3, Bo season 4, can hardly remember anyone from seasons 5 and 6, and love Adam now. I also like Kris and Allison this season, but no where near as much as I loved my top three last season. I was a huge fan of DC, MJ and Jason and am psyched to see what all three do in the future

Did anyone see DC on Ellen today? He looked and sounded awesome! And I think Michael Johns is gonna be on tomorrow... if not tomorrow, then Thursday. Can't wait to see what he sings!

The song Kara wrote was so suckalicious that every time one of the judges started yakking about, "You can sing the phone book!" I wanted to suggest that it would have been better if they HAD allowed the finalists to sing the phone book rather than that atrocious song. I am convinced the phone book listings would have been more pleasing to the ear and that the lyrics would have made more sense.

Man, that song bit. It was cruel to make Kris and Adam sing it.

I wanted to suggest that it would have been better if they HAD allowed the finalists to sing the phone book rather than that atrocious song. I am convinced the phone book listings would have been more pleasing to the ear and that the lyrics would have made more sense.

They're playing a recap of last night and when it comes to the last song, it actually fits Kris' voice better. If someone's gonna get stuck with it, it's more of a Kris song. Of course I'm still rooting for Adam, but it's really a win/win. The audience on the red carpet's chanting "Adam!" but I still think Kris is gonna win.

I'm behind on the TVGuide footage and Jason's on now! He said he was signed to Atlantic records and is rooting for Kradam

Thank you!! Switched from the news! Of course, I can't stand the hosts. Hope I can stand them for an hour. It's pretty funny that they have a Red Carpet for the AI finale!! And former former contestants are showing up. Oh! Brad Garret from Raymond is there with his kids. Sweet.

So far they've spoken to Blake Lewis and Janice Diskinson who are rooting for Adam, and Kimberley Locke and Daughtry who are rooting for Kris. I started Tivo'ing it at 6:00 and am a half-hour in though, so I'm behind on it.

They just had a great recap of all the past finales. I still get all teary watching Kelly, Carrie and DC's wins I know it sounds ridiculously cheesy, but I'll probably get teary regardless of who wins tonight. They're both nice guys and it's SO cool getting to see someone's dreams come true like that!

Oh yeah I've ran out of socks and dry shoes. It's been raining since Monday. Though it helps for the crowds. We have three rides left at MGM and three at Epcot.
