and...did anyone else notice that Haley was the only one NOT surrounded by adoring fans when she announced her judge's pick? My girls thought that was odd. I said maybe it's just that's when she happened to get the text, but smarties that they are, they said the producers could have easily arranged it during some kind of event like the other 2. Curiouser and curiouser.

Or just random "timing". When they send the texts out, I doubt they know if the person is alone or with a crowd....

why I'm flattered you took the time to round up some of my posts this season..my judgement isn't clouded, not angry, not grasping at anything. She keeps giving the veiwing public stuff to comment on. The comparison to an ax murderer never entered my mind, though I guess it did yours, chill out. I have never told anyone to move along either.My credibility? It appears as if you have time to go thru the thread counting how many anti- Haley posts were made,especially by me. ETA: I see you joined the boards under a year ago....( gonna go out on a limb here ) on this board anyway, you have not been involved in Idol thread in the past, at least under yout T*Bird name. THAT clarifies for me your newbie take on how the thread and posts about contestants can go.

First of all, don't flatter yourself. It didn't take long at all to "round up" some of your posts. Those were from yesterday!

As for the bolded items, if you want to get technical, some of them did happen (her father was on stage with her, she did fall, and she did get lipstick around her mouth, but I would hardly call it "lipstick face"). Some of them are crazy accusations with no basis in fact ("go for a modeling shoot to distract your lack of knowing the song or lyrics" and "trot around to the back of the judges hoping they can't see you fudge your way thru lyrics" - I can't even guess what you are referring to there). And some of them are just mean-spirited exaggerations (butt slide, temper tantrum, snake hiss).

I have said all along that, of course, people have contestants they like and those they dislike. I don't need to go through all the seasons threads to know that. And for Pete's sake, you tried to insinuate that I took a lot of time "searching" for your past posts, which actually took 30 seconds as they were from the day before. To me, an "anti-Haley post" would refer to her singing voice, the same as an anti-Scotty or anti-Lauren post should. What I have always referred to are the below-the-belt comments. I have not gone through the thread counting your anti-Haley posts. That actually would have taken a lot of time! No need to feel creeped out. But while you are not the only person on this thread who dislikes Haley, you are by far the most relentless and petty. As I said earlier, I think some people have softened on her a bit, and I wouldn't be surprised if that is driving you crazy (and note I said "I wouldn't be surprised" - not claiming it as fact).

We do have some common ground - I have also not analyzed your posts or questioned your right to have an opinion.

I said a while back that this was my first time to follow AI on the Disboards, no big revelation there. And I must say, it has been an eye-opening experience. I'm not trying to convert anyone on here to like Haley or any contestant. I was trying to get people to stop the personal attacks on her (or any of them). Maybe it made a difference in some, obviously not in you. I love Ellen DeGeneres and watch her show every day. I choose to follow what she says at the end of every show - "Be kind to one another". And some of the remarks about Haley, and Scotty and Lauren to some extent, are the complete opposite of kindness. So on that note you can rest assured that I won't reply to, or about, any more of your posts, no matter how nasty they are. I'm going to go by the rule "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all".

well, if your objective is to get *people* to stop, perhaps posting at more than just me may have given you more satisfaction. Oh and to be fair, I can't take credit for coming up with the phrases of "butt-slide" or hissing, others did, I simply agree with them. I don't think he has a Business degree in his future. That has never been his thing. His intention was always to teach high school English. However, he decided against the Education minor during his last semester, meaning he didn't do the student teaching. So who knows?

So how did you put your English degree to use? I think there really are lots of things you can do with an English degree. The problem is finding them!

I've been sick for a couple of weeks, so I've cleaned out my DVR. Since I had nothing else to watch, I just watched The Voice on demand. WOW! Made me realize that I really don't like AI anymore. I've only seen the first episode, but so far I like the format MUCH more. Can't wait to get caught up on that show.

also I have been helping out at my mom's retirement home today...and it appears the Senior Citizens at her place are Scotty fan's. They were voting last night for him (at least as best they could according to the aides) I woudl have pegged most of them to be Lauren fan's, but not so.
