We were able to get in 70 votes for Haley. 50 were for us and the other 20 were for Robinrs I know she would want it that way

LOL, even I voted last night. I did the internet voting which I had to do a search to find!!

I agree the country kids will split the country vote, and I believe James' votes will go to Haley. Brilliant choice for her to sing Led Zeppelin, further locking in the votes of the rock fans who were voting for James!!!

Not quite. I was a James fan and gave my votes to Scotty and Lauren.

Jimmy chose that one, not the judges. They chose the Rhiannon - which I thought was great for her. To me it seems like Jimmy has thrown her under the bus every time he gets to choose or advise her.

no. Jimmy chose "Rhiannon." he had the conversation with her about Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. he also mentioned that it was a "dark moment" after she sang and that she handled it well.

Jimmy's choices were the second round. ETA: sorry. i realize that's been cleared up now.

i thought her choice was the best one of the night.

i wasn't a James "hater," but i wasn't a fan. and no, i didn't miss him last night (for the PP who asked that).

I wanted James to win; I am not giving my vote to Haley because she sang a rock song. That left me with Scotty and Lauren. DH said to vote for both; I told him that is splitting the country vote. All my votes went to Lauren last night.

This was an interesting read this morning.

I thought the show last night was a little boring as well. Poor song choices for the most part.

My DW and I voted on line. My max vote for Scotty and her max vote for Lauren.

Tonight will be interesting.

She's been in the bottom three on Dialidol since there was 8 people left yet she's in the top 3. Dialidol has been less than reliable this year. TPTB have the last word and always have.

LOL... I don't vote that often but this is one reason I sometimes do.

I believe they use the votes as a marketing tool. It shows the way the voters are swaying and whether or not the votee is a good gamble. I still believe that if a GOOD gamble gets less votes than a bad one they will make the final decision, based on what will keep their ratings up. They owe this to their advertisers. The upfronts are paid PRE the show and they don't want to give ANY of that money back.

It's a game and a business... and they know we can't prove it otherwise.

I think since Dialidol is rarely correct and that there are only 3 contestants left, it is really not a spoiler.

My James votes went to Lauren as well. Matter of fact, it would not surprise me in the least that the Zeplin song ws already decided upon for James and once he was voted off they had to *re-offer* it to another contestant. So, like that is going to be Scotty? LZ like a ton of other bands and artists want their stuff to be put out there on Idol. James kicked it off nicely this season by doing justice to a lot of the songs. Sure, I bet it could have been pulled and Haley done something else, but you could tell she was in no way going to attempt anything rock or metal while James was still there,and now she had her chance. She goes all season as having an undefined style, and now after last night is being put in the rocker category? Ahhhhh James, your friend just boosted your career. I still think the country vote was divided, but Nigel will see how many votes total Lauren and Scotty got and that is going to put a huge smile on his face for his upcoming Country venture.

We've had an agreed upon "rule" about DialIdol results on this thread from day one. Whether they're right or wrong now shouldn't matter.
