I wanted to subscribe to this thread and comment on Charla and Mirna.....I almost died from laughing when they showed the previews and Charla fell right on her face!!!!!
I LOVE Cha Chas.....they are hilarious. I haven't felt like reading too far back on this post but does anyone remember the check point in the episode 2 weeks ago and there was a "little person" standing with Phil? Well Danny blurts out as he's running to the mat....Ooohhh Charla's gonna be in love!!!!! I loved that!!!!!!
I seriously didn't even want to watch the show anymore when Rob & Amber got the boot! But Cha Chas keep me interested.

Do you guys know that in channel 116 (Dish network) the GAME CHANNEL, they' re showing the Amazing Race 7 with Rob and Amber. At 3:00AM E time.

I know twice Phil has gone to the roadblock to eliminate a team. The one was where the girl had to unroll the bales of hay to find a clue. The other was a team of two guys, I almost want to say they were brothers and I think it was the season with Charla and Mirna and the Bowling Moms. Not sure if that is what you are remembering or a different situation.

Well, my curiosity got the better of me so I went poking around at the CBS website. It was in Season 4 and it was David and Jeff. They flew to Sydney, figuring there would be better flights to Hawaii, but there weren't any.

Nope, it's a new show - according to TV Guide, legs 7 and 8 will air April 1 (and that's no joke )

Back in the first couple seasons of AR, the teams often were hours and hours apart. And taking a flight to an airport where there was no guarantee of a flight (like Charla and Mirna did) often backfired. In one particular season (can't remember which), the team got stranded in Australia and when they finally got to the clue box in Hawaii, they found out the race was already over.

I know in season one Guido got a clue when in Alaska(?) that said that Rob and Brennan had already one, and they were just at the begining of that leg.

I don't think most shows do. I know Lost and DH do at least one a season, and Grey's had one last night. They have so much going on, (especially Lost,) that they are really good for people like my DM.

Wow! The Guidos are 16 hours behind. If they didn't make Charla and Mirna wait for the ferry(because of rain, yeah right), how much further would they be behind.
