Bummer . I liked the Guidos.

I am starting to respect (not like) Mirna and Charla. They run a good race and Charla really stepped up to the sausage eating task.

I cried all the way through Auschwitz. My DH is Jewish and his aunt was in a concentration camp. We had to do a simple age appropriate explanation of the Holocaust to my 7-year old DD who was watching with us since we got so emotional .

Absolutely!! Eric isn't my favorite, but that was a great line!


I think Danny and Oswald should have their own show. They are so entertaining!

Nothing new there, and not just with C&M. We see it happen many times each season with different racers. I wish the rules would be changed to say that teams have to find their own way to wherever they need to be. I love the show, but that would add another element to it. "Navigationally challenged people need not apply"

My favourite part: Charla's horse stopping for a snack in the bushes!

Last night, I realized for the 1st time, how funny Charla really is! From her sticking a knife down her throat to vomit, to her telling Mirna she is only there for Mirna to have someone to yell at, to her struggling with the horse.

Anyone else notice Mirna making herself "pretty" in the cab on the way to the pit stop? BLECH> Thank GOD they don't show her mauling Phil like they did in her original season.

I am officially in love with Danny and Oswald. Those two are a HOOT.

I thought the best part of last night's eppy was when MirnaSchmirna got into the cab in Warsaw and tried to chit-chat with the driver.

So, you like de Polish Hot dog? De Polish saugage? [crickets, and gruff stone-face from driver]
I guess he doesn't like us very much.

And then when no one would give them directions. Probably b/c of their lousy phoney accents, but they assume it is b/c Charla is a little persona and people are probably put off by that.

Danny and Oswald are a hoot. They crack me up and they play a good game.

No 'ya not - I like watching them. They are trying just as hard as the others. I think they are doing pretty darn good.

Looks like I am the only one rooting for Charla and Mirna. They are not the only players on this race that have exhibited rude behavior. And I think they are at a distinct disadvantage because of Charla's height. I think they have done fantastic and I was really annoyed last week when they were far ahead of everyone when they got to the ferry in Dar Es Salaam. And they delayed the ferry due to the weather by over 13 hours. It looked like blue skies to me. I think that this is one of those instances when the producers interfered in the game to keep someone from having such a sizable lead.

Did anyone else notice C&M's fake accents changed now that they're in eastern Europe?? First they had the faux Spanish thing going, now they sound like a bad imitation of Boris and Natasha.

I have to say, I would have loved that detour. I'm Ukrainian on both sides, so eating kielbasa would be right up my alley. I did not get Dani's whole thing about being skeeved out at first. My goodness, it's sausage. It's not like it's Fear Factor and you're about to eat live bugs. And I was cracking up at Charla picking little bits of whatever out of it - it's sausage! Get over it!

Eric's "Miss CA" comment was the only time I can remember laughing out loud at something on AR. That was classic.

OMG! try to make yourself watch. It was the funniest scene ever! You had one of the blondes lose her lunch as soon as she swallowed her last bite, and then Charla needed to make room in her stomach for more, so she stuck the handle of a butter knife down her throat. she was so loud, she was grossing out the Guidos, and Eric and Danielle. One of the Guidos covered his ears, and the Beauties were laughing hysterically.

true but they are rude to people constantly and they knew about Charla's height before agreeing to play the game.

That's what I was thinking, too! My dad's family is part Polish and we have kielbasa at every family get together, and I love it. I didn't understand why people were so grossed out.

About the whole paying to follow a taxi thing... am I remembering wrong, or is that a recent development? I've watched every season except the first one, and I really don't remember people doing that, at least not as much as they do now, until one or two seasons ago.
