Be honest now, was I the only one cracking up when they showed Charla being dragged by the horse and then tipping over, face first???![]()

Last night's elimination station video was interesting. When Teri and Ian arrived Ian had some pretty negative things to say about Danny and Oswald. He said that "they had no character or honor".
"A disgruntled Ian revealed that he believes that Danny and Oswald are ruthless racers with no character, saying that when he worked with them in Ushuaia to book flights, they deliberately booked him a different flight and did not confirm it. He says that the same thing happened when Eric and Danielle worked with Danny and Oswald in Maputo; both of these incidents were not shown on the show."(from wikipedia)
I wonder why CBS chose not to air that part of the race.
Here is a link to that video:

Does the 12 hours for the pit stop start as soon as you check in? If so, it would seem that the front running teams would be getting ready to leave when the guidos and terri and ian were arriving.

Actually, I don't think it's a new show, I think it's a recap episode of what has happened up to this point. I think it starts with new shows again on April 8th.DH is showing a new show next Sunday. That's what I thought when they said TAR was 2 hours. Confirmed it at the end of DH during the previews of next week.

That was definitely the funniest part of the show! I was cracking up.I think my favorite part was when Donny and Oswald were getting into their vehicles at the start of the episode and were doing a Santino imitation of Tim from Project Runway when they learned that the driver's name was Andre.![]()
I nover notice the Chmirna accents. I too busy being shocked by the rude things that come out of their mouths.
I do have to give them credit on this last leg though. Taking that first flight turned out to be a very good move. Mirna also did very well at the challenges.

He was likable this time! And I thought it was really sweet what he said at the end.It will be interesting to see if the Guidos can catch up, but I think that is highly unlikely. I was sorry to see Ian and Terry go, he was so likable this time around. I guess he learned from his mistakes![]()
Charla and Mirna coming in first, yet again., but I did enjoy their reactions to winning the catamarans. I just hope they don't win.
DH and I said the same thing. I think it was done just to keep them there and keep them from getting too far ahead. And I think production totally stopped them at the ferry to keep them from getting to far ahead. There wasn't a storm coming!
I think it's a little boring when the teams are as spread out as they were last night, because they have no chance of catching up to each other, and the people in last place are kind of doomed from the start. It was sad that essentially what did Teri and Ian in was waiting in line with the Guidos instead of going upstairs with the other teams before the ticket office opened. It seems like usually the teams that get eliminated make several little mistakes, but basically that one decision put them too far behind to catch up.
I saw Ian on the Early Show this morning. He said they were trying really hard to get a flight out of Maputo, but there was some religious pilgrimage going on and there were about 10,000 people at the airport (or something like that).
Back in the first couple seasons of AR, the teams often were hours and hours apart. And taking a flight to an airport where there was no guarantee of a flight (like Charla and Mirna did) often backfired. In one particular season (can't remember which), the team got stranded in Australia and when they finally got to the clue box in Hawaii, they found out the race was already over.
I think it happened twice. In Season 1 Team Guido won the fast forward. So they thought they had tons of time to get to the pit stop and stopped at a hotel for a while then took a slow train. They would have been eliminated except Emily and her mom didn't do a task right and got a huge penalty, so they were eliminated. But the Guidos were still way behind and yes they were in Alaska when they found out the race was finished.I think it was team Guido...only for some reason I thought it was Alaska?
I vaguely remember the second time that happened to someone. I want to say they were two young men. It wasn't season two I know. I'm pretty sure it wasn't three either. It was probably season four.
I know twice Phil has gone to the roadblock to eliminate a team. The one was where the girl had to unroll the bales of hay to find a clue. The other was a team of two guys, I almost want to say they were brothers and I think it was the season with Charla and Mirna and the Bowling Moms. Not sure if that is what you are remembering or a different situation.I vaguely remember the second time that happened to someone. I want to say they were two young men. It wasn't season two I know.
