We have two girls adopted from China...one soon to be nin year old and a four year old..we are also in Ontario.

We cant wait to surprise the girls with our trip in Sept.!

We are from Ontario too and will also be there in September!!

It's time to do our Happy Dance!!! We just booked a short trip for September!!! We didn't think it was going to be possible for another year or so, but we managed to squeeze it in!!!! No CL this time, but at least we'll be able to see our beloved resort they way we know it one last time just in case the DVC and major renovation rumors do manifest as truth.

So what's everyone's take on this? Fact or fiction? It seems like Tikiman is highly respected on The DIS...I haven't been following him long enough to know if his precidtions & info are usually spot on or rumor!

As much as I wished Disney would just update/upgrade the Poly, I am sure DVC is coming. I am fairly new to my Poly love, so I am kinda sad about DVC possibly coming.

Yes there is a movie still at the Poly but it is near the Hawaii Longhouse. It's towards the end of the pool and the beach. I could see the screen sometimes from the CL lounge. We just got back on the 7th.

Do they have s'mores before the movie like they used to? If so, what time? Also, what time does the movie start?

Thank you so much for your photos! Now that I know we're going I can finally indulge in thoughts of my favorite place. Maybe this year I'll haul my butt out of bed early enough to join Guitarob on his morning walks. Such a reversal from every other day - usually I'm up with the sun!

I don't remember seeing s'mores. I want to say no because there wasn't any place to roast the marshmallows but I may be wrong.

The movie started at 9ish, just after the water parade went by.

There were smores when we were there Apr 2-May 5. They probably started around 6:30-7:30. You can see the firepit in one of the pictures. It was pretty small and somewhat dangerous with all those little ones swining around flaming balls of sugar! My son was hit by my daughter, she burned his arm!

The Disney movie started around 8:30, I want to say....I remember some nights it had to pause for the electric water pageant, then pause again for Wishes.
