Smashingly! Thanks for asking!
We held a pre-show event for Beth--light finger food and drinks. It was well-attended, and for the actual performance, the house was packed. Now, in this small space, 40-50 patrons is a good number. . .we had 80+. Best of all, the actors nailed it. I was so thrilled for them. Not only did they get to meet Beth, but I also arranged for them to be on stage with Beth after the show for a Q & A session from the audience. After, she autographed all their scripts and complimented each one. She spent a few to several minutes with each cast member throughout the course of the evening. She is a sweetheart. Beth appreciated everything; the cast was elated; and the audience was thoroughly entertained and provided a rousing standing ovation. Couldn't have asked for a better night.
My favorite part was watching the actors perform, bring to life the words written by a woman sitting 15 feet from the stage. I beamed from ear to ear--they had worked their tails off, and there they were, shining in the biggest moments imaginable. Simply thrilled for them.
