I hope you all have a wonderful time at ASMusic! I'm sure you will enjoy the resort & WDW  I can't wait to go back but it'll probably be 2 years since we alternate between WDW & DH-friendly beach vacations

I've just figured out how to post pictures, I have a few of the ASMusic in my seond post in the trip report I'm working on if anyone is interested, the link to my TR is now in my signature :thumbsup2

We are going in 1 day! I have a couple of questions--do they still have towels available for use in the pool? Last year I just went to the concergie (?) desk and got some.

Also, do they have conditioner as a personal hygiene item in the rooms? I can't remember.

You have to take the towels from your room. Housekeeping is generous with them but if needed you just call and ask for extras.

They only give you shampoo and soap.

Hi there. Just a couple of questions.

What time does the food court close? and
Do they have a microwave for use in the food court?

We will arrive late and after over 24 hours of travelling will want a quick bite to eat and then sleep. Unfortunately we won't get much time to get a meal at the airports as our connection times are quite short. Our flight gets into Orlando at 8:30pm so I imagine it will be after 10 before we arrive at the resort.:)

only 6 more days until my stay i cant wait weather has been horrible here the last few days so i want sun

I think that the food court closes around 11ish, but, there's pizza available until 12:00 (not sure if the window stays open or if it's only by delivery at that point). There is a microwave.

We are thinking of ASMu in Jan in POR for a few different reasons. Anyway My ? is do they have many connecting rooms and does anyone know where they are located. We would get preferred rooms and do not wnat the suites. I know POP board has great maps showing the connecting room, anyone have that for ASMu.

we have two rooms booked september 22nd, one under my name and one under my mom's, is there a way to make sure we are near each other?

Just call the hotel and ask to have rooms next to each other. There isn't a guarantee, but it usually works out.

We went to ASMu during our stay at ASMo and at that time there were towels available by the Calypso pool which I thought was very nice, since ASMo didn't offer them at the pool.

Call and ask them to 'link your resservations together'. Also, have them
add a request for the rooms to me near each other or adjoining. If you actually want rooms that are side by side with the connecting door you need to ask for 'connecting' rooms.

I tried searching the thread for this answer, but couldn't find it. Does anyone know if ASMu has channel 96 (the all day classic cartoon channel) ?

Just curious, as some places do and others don't. Thanks!

Regarding earlier posters questions about connecting rooms. I could be wrong but I thought that the ASMu resort converted the connecting rooms into "Family Suites"?

We stayed at All Star Music August 1-12 in the Broadway section. It was a fairly quiet area which was nice. The housekeeping did a nice job. Only a couple of things really bothered me. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. And, the light outside our room door was burned out. I actually called about the light as I felt it was a safety issue when returning to the room at night, but they never managed to fix that for us. I noticed several other lights out as well, so they probably need to pay a bit more attention to that. The room met our needs...which was basically to sleep, and I felt there was plenty of room for me and my two teen daughters. Since we weren't in the preferred section, we did have to walk a bit further to the food court, but it wasn't really that long of a walk. One of my daughters really liked the quesadillas at the food court. The pasta was good as well. The staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. They gave us a schedule of activities at the main pool, but my girls weren't interested. Looked like they had some fun things though.

I know there are still connecting rooms at ASMu but are there any connecting standard rooms in Jazz. I requested "Connecting rooms, Jazz section" but now I'm wondering if any still exist.
