Newbie here to flying. We booked Airtran last night. What identification do I need for my ds (15) at checkin? Do we pay for the baggage fee at checkin? The website says to checkin 120 minutes before flight time, is this right? We have a 7:00 a.m. flight, so do we need to be there at 5?

Kids don't need any ID to fly.

You can pay online before flight. And yes, 2 hours before flight is recommended. Security can, at times, take a long time. Better 30 minutes early at the gate rather than 1 minute late.

Your 15 year old will not need any type of identification. Yes, you really should arrive at the airport two hours prior to departure. The morning hours are usually the busiest at many airports.
