This BMO MC issue is driving me bonkers. For the 300 AM offer, my wife and I are doing it on our separate cards. We each have a BMO MC, which is the same account, but different numbers. If we both pay for Shell with our MC's, will it count as a partner for both of us, or will it only count 1 time for whoever does it first?

Wow that is one complicated situation. i am wondering if a conversation with Airmiles or BMO would give you more information? Maybe someone else has a suggestion.

You can add your CAA card to the Shell app so you get both the discount and the AM without having to worry about missing a step.

The thing I find weird about the Shell app is I haven’t found where it confirms which station you’re at before you click to pay at the pump. Seeing that number on the pump drop by $0.03/L is my visual confirmation that I didn’t just activate a pump at the last Shell I was at instead of the one I’m currently at . The location services seem to work well and have not given me reason for concern, I’m just somewhat surprised it doesn’t have a confirmation step.

Did Metro on Saturday, Shell yesterday (got my third visit 25AM bonus too!), and put in an Amazon order, so hopefully I ticked the boxes right. Had the “earn 1 AM at Metro and at Shell” offer for the 8-10 weekend too though and my Metro visit from the 8th still hasn’t posted!? I definitely earned base miles that day.

My phone kind of gets used only to text and talk,, answering machine,,, emergencies,,, kind of like an old fashioned house phone.
Yeah I know old fashioned but I don't use my phone to bank or any apps to pay for stuff.
No phone banking either.

I am sure my sons think I am a old dinosaur.

Metro for me takes so long to post ,,, I'm still waiting on a few postings.
Hopefully soon.

Hopefully we can get this question answered - I'll give my data points for reference. This is from the last weekend offer - we have 2 different Cards with different numbers under the SAME BMO account and 2 different AM accounts.

Used the secondary Airmiles account and the secondary BMO card and it posted like this

So that was no difference in how it posted to the AM accounts, can't tell yet if the bonus offer worked on both cards or not because it hasn't posted. ALSO the offer was different that weekend wasn't it? There are so many variations lately that it's becoming very hard to track!

I don't know the answer but don't forget that the bonus is worth about $30 so if you're really want to make sure you get it on both cards, and you haven't already used this as an offer, I would suggest a minimum transaction for Pick-up at Staples - I get household items for these like hand soap!

Yes, it is the only card I use when collecting AM. It just works out better for me. My hat goes off to all of you managing 2 and 3 AM numbers and a couple of credit cards to boot!

You’re still a few steps ahead of my MIL, who despite ten years of chronic iPad usage still refuses to let us buy her a cell phone to carry around in case she needs to make or receive a call!

If you ever do step into mobile banking, I will say that ApplePay is a great technology. Saves you having to input your credit card information for certain purchases like the Shell app or certain online purchases, which is good because each company that gets your full card number, expiry, CVV, is a potential place that info could be stolen from. Also reduces risk of things like card skimming at a gas pump. Safer than carrying a card around, really.

Lol, my mother has a fairly new iPhone but my sister and I joke that it is almost not worth trying to call her on it since she usually forgets it somewhere! She called me one day because she absolutely could not find it and wanted to know if I could track it for her. (We have each other on Find My app) The phone was at her house but she could not hear it when I called it. It took her over 24 hours before she finally found it in the pocket of her dressing gown!

I asked the stock person if they had any with a better than 1 month expiry ...**" Cereal doesn't last more than 2 months"** ,,,what can you do when someone gives you wrong info?

Ok ,,,,off I go to another Metro
I was able to get 4 boxes with a 7 month expiry date.
40 Airmiles earned.
And I get my favorite cereal.

I'm pretty sure that I unintentionally already completed the 300 bonus points offer. If I'm reading it (and the posts correctly), if I earn 1 AM by spending on my BMO AM mastercard, that's 1 offer. For hurricane prep on Sept. 15th I bought cat food (Global) and I visited the Dollarama (with my linked card I spend over $30). So... fingers crossed!

Speaking of stockpiling.... I needed some Jam on the weekend and ended up paying $6.99 for a small jar.
I will be picking 4 jars tomorrow at Sobeys $5.99 a jar 310-500 ml for buy 4 get 1000 Scene+ points.
I checked at Metro today and everything seemed to be around $8.99 a jar.
I have one order for Blueberry,1 for Strawberry 1 for Raspberry and one for my fav Cherry.
I am tempted to double my order and put a small jar in everyone's Christmas stocking ..lol.
