Is it possible to book a Disney hotel for three nights and purchase a three day ticket? We are looking to arrive and visit the parks on Day 1. Day 2 & 3 would be in the parks. On Day 4, we leave early for London so won't be spending any time in the parks.

Am I missing something? I only see tickets and hotel+tickets on the website.

This is the way they do it at DL Paris as far as I know. Don't think of it as day tickets: you get access to the parks with your hotel stay including check in and check out days, whether you use them or not. It's always part of the bundle/nightly rate. I say don't worry about leaving early for London, book your package and enjoy the park time you are able to fit in. DL Paris Park is beautiful!

Onsite hotel and park ticket packages are the standard at Disneyland Paris. It is not the same as the American Parks. It is a false economy to try to do things separate, as the packages are discounted when compared to buying onsite hotel separate and tickets separate.

The majority of Disneyland Paris guests are within a 2 hour flight from the parks, so people go to the parks on their arrival day and departure day.

You can get an onsite room only on third party booking sites like Expedia and then buy separate tickets direct from Disney BUT doing this will work out more expensive AND will limit your park options.

When you do the onsite hotel and park ticket package, you can book your dining reservations at the same time. But if you buy separate tickets, the system does not recognize you as an onsite guest and you have to wait until 60 days before arrival for dining reservations. Onsite guests can do dining reservations from 10 months in advance, so at 60 days before arrival a lot of the dining reservations are booked out.

When you do the onsite hotel and park ticket package, you have access to the early entry hour. But if you buy separate tickets, the system does not recognize you as an onsite guest and your ticket is only valid for entry at general opening time. This puts you at a big disadvantage for wait times and rope drop.

When you do the onsite hotel and park ticket package, you do not need to make park reservations. But if you buy separate tickets, you have to buy tickets for a specific date and make park reservations. Just having the ticket will not get you park access.

Thanks to both of you. That was helpful. We may have to change the order which we do things on our trip. We had planned on flying into Paris, spending a couple of days seeing the sites and acclimating to the time difference before we go to Disneyland. We only have a couple of days in London before we fly out and travel seems to take up half of the day. If we spend the last day at Disneyland, we would have no time in London. We need to consider moving to a non Disney hotel for that last night or flipping our vacation and doing London, Paris, Disneyland, home.

Yes this would be best for what you need. Example
Arrive Monday, check in to on site hotel, half day in the park
Tuesday Full day in the park
Wednesday check out of onsite hotel, check in to off site hotel, full day in the park. Your park tickets are valid for the full day on your check out day from the onsite hotel.

I did similar on my last visit in 2023. Most of my party just did a few hours in the park on check out day and then got flights home but I did the full day and then went to a hotel at the airport in the evening and flew home the following day.

How do Disneyland hotels handle bag storage on that last day?

Do you have any suggestions for hotels for that last night? Is it better to stay just outside Disneyland or to stay near the airport? I read the thread about taking a shuttle so figured that would be the best way to get from Disneyland to the airport.

All of the onsite hotels have a bag storage room, as everyone goes to the parks on check out day. You just need to check the opening hours, as depending on which hotel you stay at, they might close before the park closes.

My flight home to Ireland was a morning flight, so for me it was best to get to the airport the night before, have a relaxing evening, then just have no stress the next morning for the flight.

I stayed at ibis Paris CDG Airport at Terminal 3. If you are booking this hotel, make sure you book the one at 3 rue de Bruxelles, as there is a budget Ibis at 1 Bis Rue De La Haye which is a different hotel.

The Magic Shuttle dropped us at their base at terminal 2E, so we had to make our way over to Terminal 3.

This took us about 40 minutes as we had to get the shuttle train. Its all very well sign posted , it just took us a bit of time as we were tired.

I'm going to add my additional questions onto this thread rather than starting new threads for each topic. Let me know if you think I should start a new thread.

We will be visiting shortly after World of Frozen and Adventure World opens. This wasn't intentional, it is just the timing of our trip. I don't see any info on this forum regarding dining and show reservations for the new areas. It looks like hotel guests will be able to book first and that Cascade of Lights reservations open on Feb 19. Do we know what time of day that will be? Are show reservations standing, seated on the ground, or seated in chairs?

Premier Access Ultimate is over $200/person/day for the time we are visiting. I'm not sure if we should visit and get our bearings the first day, spring for Premier the second day, and pay by attraction for the third. If we don't opt into it when we make our hotel reservations, can we add it later?

The baggage drop off at the train station seems convenient. Anything we should be aware of regarding that?

Do we need to decide on all of the above when we make the reservation or can we add them on at a later date?

Does anyone have additional information or pointers? It there a blog or vlog for DLP that people find helpful?

We just did our first DLP trip, so I will answer a few of the ones I can.

We flew in from Berlin (visiting our DD who was studying abroad there this fall) on an early flight, took a private car service straight to the Marvel hotel. One of our two rooms was ready at 11am, so we dropped all luggage there and went to the parks. We purchased ride access ride by ride that day.

We planned to do Ultimate Access the next day (our only full park day), but then it was very cold (40) and drizzly that day, and we did EE so got several rides in that way. We didn’t want to spend the entire day in the park (as we would have if the weather had been better), so we added up the price of the rides we wanted, and buying them one by one was cheaper than Ultimate. One by one is almost always instant return time, so the Ultimate doesn’t save a lot of walking because you just walk up, by the individual LL and ride when buying one ride at a time. Also, I can’t ride all of the E ticket rides due to motion sickness, so it was definitely cheaper for me to buy ride by ride. You can buy Ultimate on the day of; I am not sure if it runs out?

On check out day, we had a 6pm flight to London, so we did EE, came back around 11:30a and packed up, asked for and received noon check out (one hour later than normal check out), and then left our bags in the rooms. Then you can call Bell Services, and they will come get your bags and store them until you are ready to leave the hotel (we didn’t have to be present in the room to have the bags picked up). We told them when our car service would arrive to take us to the airport, and Bell services had our bags pulled and out in front of the hotel at that time, when we returned from our morning in the parks! I wish the DLR hotels had this service!!

We considered the train, but it was more expensive for the 4 of us than the private car service. And the train only came every 90 minutes, so if it was late or we missed it, we would have to call an Uber. Also, with the 10 minute walk to the station with our luggage (in the cold and rain, getting us and our luggage wet) and waiting for the train and then walking through CDG, the transit time was about the same as the car. The car service was prompt and smooth. He even dropped us off at one terminal and one of our DDs at another (you have to drive between terminals) since she was going to Madrid and we were going to London.

As a DLR person, you may be really disappointed in the food and beverage offerings. We were sad to see very few holiday or seasonal offerings or even just interesting offerings. And some of the places we wanted to get snacks etc had very limited hours, closed hours before the park closed or never opened at all. Just know that going in, and you won’t be surprised. And the quality of the food (to us) was significantly below DLR (ie even things like Nutella Waffles which seem like they would be great in France, seemed like frozen waffles etc).

EE and staying onsite were well worth it for us. Not nearly the crowds that we see at DLR EE, by a long shot. And onsite let us come back for a break and get out of the cold/wet for a little bit. Not sure of the weather in February, but it might be similar to early December, when we just went.

Have fun!!!!

@twodogs thanks for your reply.

We booked a room at the Marvel Hotel. We will take the train from Paris, leave our bags with Disney at the train station, and go straight to the parks for that first day. The second day I purchased an Ultimate Pass. It is the 2nd week of Adventure World and Frozen (as well as Easter week). I don't know what the demand for the new attractions will be. Maybe everyone will be focused on Adventure World and Disneyland will be empty. Haha! The third night we decided to book a hotel next to the airport and will head there after spending a day in the parks. We fly home the following day.

Is rideshare used in Europe? Did you compare the cost of rideshare to a private car service? What car service did you use?
