Advice please on MNSSHP date.

We are 6 adults, 3 children (at time of trip: almost 5, almost 3, almost 3). DH and I have been to MNSSHP before, the children and other adults have not.

We have 3 options for MNSSHP:

Sept 28 (Sunday)
Oct 2 (Thurs)
Oct 3 (Friday)

We have 6:40 PM ADRs for CRT on Oct 2. CRT is an absolute must. I will keep trying but I doubt I am going to pick up an ADR for 9 during free dining.

Would you:

1) Attend the party Sept 28. Do CRT on Oct 2/be escorted from the park.
2) Do both CRT and the party Oct 2.
3) Do CRT on Oct 2/be escorted from park. Attend the party Oct 3, which would be our last night at WDW.

I would do either Option 1 or 3. I would not do an option that involved having CRT at 6:20 pm and then going to MNSSHP because by the time you finish, the party will already have started. The most popular character lines start to form before MNSSHP starts, so by the time you finish eating, those lines will already be long(ish).

I would also choose option 1 or 3 to do them on separate days. There are so many party exclusive activities which you can't do at any other time that I would absolutely NOT waste party time eating at CRT. In fact, if you want to see some of the rare characters (e.g. 7 Dwarfs, Jack and Sally last year), the lines start around 5:30-6:00 to reduce waiting in line during the party.

Considering the cost of dinner at CRT I would not enjoy it if I had to keep checking my watch and wishing the Princesses would hurry up so I could leave.

Considering the cost of party tickets it would be hard to miss up to 90 minutes of the party and then not have enough time to do all the party exclusive activities that you wanted to do.

I would pick option 1. Friday night will be much busier than Sun or Thurs.
I would not do the party the same night at CRT as we found that we needed every bit of time possible to enjoy MNSSHP and wish we would have gone for two nights.
